I have had problems with the login where I would have to hit it twice for it to work.

Like I would sign in and log in...but it wouldn't really sign me in.
Then I would do it again and I'm fine.

5/5 Stars - Kritz.net

While I'm not entirely confident about this, but I'd assume the Bungie Web-team are not working on Halo 3. Maybe some of the programmers, but they'd have separate folks for the website & game, surely.

Also, this'd probably be better suited in the Septagon.

EDIT: Used the term, "but I'd assume" twice, with both wordings clustered together vertically. Wanted to fix it.

Well if the web programming team is not doing Halo 3 then there is no reason for them to not be fixing these problems!

I swear to god, everytime I try to post in these accursed forums, I first have to hit the "Login" button five times until your clumsy server finally realises that I am on.

And then, in the hopes of finally posting I go down to click on "Post a new Topic", but it does absolutely nothing so I have to keep reloading the page and trying again and again.

I understand that you guys are working on the most kickass game in the world, but can you please just do a quick clean up so each post doesnt take 5 minutes to make??

"That's about all that can be said for plots, which anyway are just one thing after another, a what and a what and a what.

Now try how and why."

Actually, ideal science did the major programing for the forums...

the Shadows are watching.

There was recently a topic about this in the Septagon I believe. I don't remember exactly what the explanation was, but I think it was a failure to load a script (for the New Topic button) and you just had to press F5 to force a reload of the page. I think this problem was mostly FireFox. And for the thing where you randomly logout, it will happen less if you don't check the box for it to remember your password on the login screen. And it will automatically log you out after 14 hours.
That may not be entirely correct, but I think that is what was said in the last discussion that was had about this.

Holy crap, this thing just moved while I was typing. Wow.

Anyone but Foman. He smells like cheese.

This is a new pinnacle of whining. The web team is working on the Halo 3 project in that they are developing all of the stats pages and various gamertag functions that, in about two months, you will be ungratefully using with no appreciation for the work it took. You'll probably complain then too.

Yeah, sometimes you have to hit the login button more than once. So you it might take you 15 seconds to login instead of 10. Is it really such a big deal that you had to make a post with an all-caps title and appear to be a huge baby about it? Get some perspective.

and based on the fact that it is a small percentage of people who are experiencing problems, I would imagine that it is far less likely to be a site issue as opposed to a browser version or client-side problem.

Instead of making an all caps "look at me" complaint, how about you give some information (other than "it's broke") like what OS you have, your browser (version) and any web-related plug-ins that you may be running?

Im having the sign in problem too both on my work computer (IE6/xp) and my home computers (IE7/vista). I sign in but it doesnt show up in the upper right corner until ive clicked sign in a second time, it updates without any further input of info this time though. But it doesnt end there, after hitting sign in the second time i finally get to see my name but always with the default avatar, my real one isnt showing up until ive updated the screen or used some directory.

I dont have the remember me option filled in on any of the computers im using. I wouldnt trust it on the work computer and my home computers are using finger print readers controlled by another program that is popping up when im opening the sites ive chosen to have feature linked to. My temp files are deleted once/day on all computers.
