I'm not sure of the total number of b.net members, but I am going to assume around 500,000.
So, 500,000 divided by 25 ends up to be about 20,000 members per moderator. So I think a 20,000:1 ration of members to moderators is a bit outnumbered eh? Even if it is only 50,000 members, it would be 2,000:1.
So if it's 500,000 members, and even having a 2,000:1 ratio is too much... we need more than 250 moderators?
We don't need more moderators. This isn't a situation where being outnumbered is that much of a problem. If we were trying to herd sheep, then maybe we would need more moderators. But we're just getting rid of spammers on a forum, and that isn't as affected by a large amount of members.
