What is the best way to connect a DVD recorder and an xbox 360 on record while i'm online? By the way I have a modem connection which uses the ethernet cable.

My logic is undeniable.

If you can get hold of some sort of SCART splitter, one to the TV one to the Recorder, that should work well enough; assuming of course it will record a SCART recording in HD (assuming it;s only for Halo 2) is pointless and very expensive so don't bother.

The best way or easiest for the that matter...use RCA 'Y' splits for each of the plugs. Half go to the TV and half go to the DVD recorder. If you try to go through the DVD to the TV, you most likely will experience "lag" in gameplay (not really lag...but a big delay in action). Splitting the signal before the tv and dvd burner should work fine. It's probably also the cheapest.

I've never used a dvd recorder to capture gameplay, but I did consider it before buying another capture card. I wanted to be able to edit the video on my computer without using dvd's. If you have the money, you might want to consider getting a capture card with component input. They have recently become a lot cheaper than they used to be.

Good luck.
