its like a large force of win going through fusion, thus creating a chain reaction of a huge asplosion of win destroying any fail within its awesomeness.

You could give 5 seconds of no rules and the entire site would go to hell in a hand basket... and that includes The Gallery, everyone knows The Gallery is trouble...

I remember when I used this space to put cool looking links to my chapters back in the day. I don't even know why I'm using it now. Why are you even reading this? You must be interested in me. Still reading?

Should there be a "holiday" on Bungie.net called No Rules Day in which there are no rules on the forums for a day and anything goes? For one day only all Bungie.net members can say whatever they want and post whatever they want without fear of being banned. The -blam!- filter should be turned off also on this day. It would make a great annual celebration for Bungie.net and a great chance for members of the community to bond with each other without limits.
Horrible idea.

Take a short stroll to the Halo 3 Forum. That is on a normal day. All the insanity that goes on there is too much as it is. And the Flood, well, it would be the exact same with out all the lock threads.

You also have to remember that not all the people here on B.net have high maturity levels. A lot of members on here range from 7 to 77 years old (not to offend elders 78+) so temporary loss of the -blam!- filter might cause bad habits and more and more posts would include "-blam!-".

Also, removing the -blam!- filter would also require reprogramming. I doubt Achronos has a "Negate -blam!- filter" button that he can just click whenever.

So, no. It is a horrible idea. Period.

the Shadows are watching.

Okay, think about this. Remember not too long ago when Pezza's account was hacked or stolen or whatever? Remember the moronic mass of crap that appeared in the form of spam topics asking the hacker to go away? Now, multiply that by about 100 and you would have the amount of spam and illegible crap that would appear if Bungie actually told people they could do that.

In other words, sounds like a great idea.

Halo 3 forum anyone?

B.net forums are already rife with lawlessness. The last thing anyone (members of standing and probably mods alike) want is to encourage the one thing that is constantly combated here, for any amount of time.

If you want pure lawlessness, perhaps you might be able to do that in a private group you create. Then again, groups are still binded to the ToU.....

You can create a "No Rules" group which could be for the whole year...I would join.

I would be a place where spammers and trollers are the ninjas lol.
