I played on five when I played on the XBOX, but whenever the 360 came out I felt like I needed to bump it down to 4 because I wasn't used to the controls.

I see all kinds of players using S-types or regular 360 controllers playing on 10. I honestly don't see how anyone could aim with such speed, I've tried it and the only kill that I got was when I would just strafe left and right until my cursor was over their head and just not touch my right joystick.

I've also seen players play fairly well on 1, which I do not understand. If someone is shooting you in the back you are dead before you are able to turn around. Players on lower sensitivity tend to jump more often even when unneeded, because your player model turns faster when you jump

Thoughts?

I vary between 1-3. 1-2 if I'm sniping, 2-3 for regular slayer.

Wow, I always thought I put it back to 3... but I have it on 6. I thought 7 was just too high and that 5 was just too slow. I think it works real well for me (it may be the reason I beat my friends so much because they have theirs on 3). The only reason I put it back to 3 once was because I'd get excited when I played with my friends and then I would over react and over aim.

depends on the game type..if im playing slayer im usually using a 9-10 but if its snipers then i go with 7ish, easier to keep aim, and just fast enough to turn around for the quick snipe. Why is everyone playing on such low look sens.?

I play with a one. i used to be fine with three but about a year ago decided a lower look sensitivity is what I needed. So I went for it and I've been better of since.

If you are playing with 3 or less you should change yours. I play with five, most pros play with 4-7 sensitivity. This is fast enough to look around quickly, but slow enough to control.

I'm testing it out right now. I'm used to three, but I'm trying to see which works best.

Three all the way. I actually feel nausiated when using higher. ><

IF you play on a one look sensitivity then I would NOT recommend close quarters combat. Stay mid to far range and only go close when you control the situation. If you play like that then you won't need to worry about how fast you're turning around. Enough of this "you need to change your look sensitivity" garbage. Your look sens. is not always what needs to be changed but maybe the way you play.

I agree. It is all a matter of preference. I personally find it too hard to snipe on anything above 4, and i increased my accuracy dramatically by dropping my look sensitivity to 1-2.

Everyone is entitled to their own wrong opinion.

I'm part of the Bungie.net Minecraft group/server called SeptaCrafters
We're a Bungie.net group that goes to our very own Bungie server. Most players are from the Halo community either off Bungie itself or through word to Halo friends.

I play with 6 or 7 because my controller is so stupid
