its such newb weapon. You wait thill the reticule is red the you get a kill. It really requires no skill to use and there is no way to counter it unless you really good at bxr. Who agrees?

I disagree. The sword just needs to have a battery like in the campaign with a smaller reticule and shorter lunge. The sword requires strategy to lure your opponents to you, force them into a corner, or a 2v1 situation.

A sword noob is a new player who carries a sword as their primary weapon, expecting players to charge them and give them free kills.

A more experienced player with a sword switches to their sword only when in close quarters battle and down atleast 1 or 2 shots. You only use your sword when you are on the losing end of a close-range firefight because of how inconsistent the weapon is. Sometimes it lunges you over their head, or does absolutely no damage.

Also, there will be no BxR In Halo 3.

Greatest of all time

good job posting the same thread twice, dont use the word n zero zero b or any variation of it.

The sword is perfectly balanced, if you know theres a sword on the map and you communicate well with your team, you should know if the other team has it or not and you will know to keep your distance.

I argree with JetStreak. You need the sword in Halo 3, but it should have a battery.

Designated Marksman Rifle

What are you talking about. The sword actually puts you in the worst position possible. You can only attack from a certain range. When the range is long, the lunge can miss with the proper movement. And I'll take it for granted that you wouldn't be stupid enough to go right up to someone with the sword. Besides by the time they get close enough to you, (considering you shooting at him while moving backward in step), you will kill him.

I don't think there should be a battery. If you are good enough you can kill the sword guy.
