OK, first off this website is the absolute worst design I have ever seen in my whole life. It makes no sense at all. Anyways, I have no idea who this will reach but I figured this would be the best place to -blam!- about it. Why does Halo 2 no auto-save? Last night I beat like 3 levels and this morning I went to go play and I was way back to 3 levels ago! Bungie already rips all their characters off of other movies, (elite=predator,marines=Aliens/Starship Troopers , etc.), but they are so terrible at making games that they couldn't put a an autosave option in the game. I mean I like the game alot more than the overrated bull fest that was Halo, but I want to throw my X-Box beacause Bungie was too lazy to make the stupid game save after you beat a level! Honestly! Bungie if you can see this, YOU suck!

Uh...

Right.

Halo does save checkpoints and level progress. Either you did something to lose your save information, or someone else played on your profile, getting a checkpoint somewhere in a previous level.

First off, bungie does not suck. They create games for gamers, which makes them unique since they are gamers themselves. Secondly, the autosave was never part of Halo 1 either. If you noticed when you press start to exit, it asks if you want to save and quit. Well thats what you should do. I dont know why you get so upset over such a simple thing. I have one thing that aggrivates me about Halo 2 but its nothing that Bungie can do about it since the game has already been distributed and well they cant fix something that has over 1.5 million copies in the United States alone. Im sorry that you are aggrivated, but dont take it out on the company because of one small flaw.
