What's to pick apart? You dug yourself a grave and basically laid yourself in it. You failed to mention how it's $400 for a 360 ONLY. You didn't include the cost of controllers, a headset, and a membership to Xbox Live. Your $400 360 doesn't come with free games either.Firstly you also forgot to mention the cost of your RAM, CPU, GPU, COOLING, HDD, MOBO, MOUSE, KEYBOARD, HEADSET, GAMES, SPEAKERS, and Vista.
Easily you spend 1500 on that.
Yeah, if you don't know how to shop for a computer. Considering when you buy a tower it comes with all the essential computer parts to make it run, and considering that you can use your previous mouse, keyboard, headset, games, and speakers from your previous computer, your point is defunct. I spent $1,000 for my new computer and that was it. I bought it back in December and you know what I will need to do in a year or two? I'll need to buy a new video card for about $300, which will then last me for another four or five years.
But what about you? Oh, you mean you can't use your PS2 controller for the PS3? You mean the PS2 can't play PS3 games? You mean you're not forced to upgrade to the next version to play games (your horrible Vista excuse)? You mean that you pay around $600 total for a system and then $50 a piece for every new console title after that only to find that after four or five years of spending money into a pit that you throw it away when the new consoles arrive?
Secondly you also must pay for XBOX LIVE to get the best out of you Games For Windows
Ha! This one made me laugh. Currently there are only two games utilizing Windows LIVE, a piece of crap interface online system that should've STAYED on the consoles, and that's Halo 2 Vista and Shadowrun. Given that there are only about 40 or 50 people playing Halo 2 Vista at any given moment, and given that the real top PC games don't want to have anything to do for a crappy service like Windows LIVE, then it's safe to assume you're reaching simply because you face defeat in this argument.
and thirdly you must deal with modders 24/7 and people hacking into your private servers.
No, you don't, and now you're reaching again. Not only is 24/7 an outrageous reach and only disproves your argument further, but so does the fact that many games include voting systems to ban players permanently off a server based on their IP. And let's not forget that you have modders on your precious consoles as well.
Also, hackers? You've been watching too much of the Matrix.
