They havent even announced if Halo 2 will be for the PC (although, im sure it will eventually) and why would you want cheats anyway? What the heck is the matter with you? Seriously.

Cheats degrade game, especially in multi-player.

Doubt Halo 2 will hit PC before 2005, doubt Halo 2 for either Xbox or PC will have cheats, but that won't stop the folks who mod their games.

i only use cheats AFTER i've beaten a game. in a FPS case, i normally beat the game a couple dozen times before i use cheats.

WOAH! Now everyone calm down. I was just simply wondering if Halo 2 would have cheats because the first one did not. I never said I wanted them. Now if Halo 2 was to have cheats then I would suppose Bungie games would obviously disable them in multiplayer mode, like every other game in multiplayer for the pc. 2nd of all I agree with Mooman1014. I like to first play and beat the game on several different difficulty levels and then I like to experiement with the game (with cheats). I just thought it would be kind of cool to see some interesting ones in there, not your typical like all guns, etc.

Bungie will not add cheats to this game. They want it real as possible.

Why do you say that? They have already announced that Halo 2 is coming out on Nov. 9th which is set in stone.

He said PC. Halo 2 is a true Xbox game, meaning it was originally intended to work on the Xbox hardware, not a PC(despite it being a mini-one anyways)

To take all the bump-maps and intense graphics on a PC would be very hard. You'd need the new NViDIA graphics card, and I'm not paying 1000$ dollars for it!

I hate cheats for games (I liked Halo for not having cheats). But I didn't like how in the first that all you got for beating Legendary was that Cinema Scene. I heard rumors, but isn't Bungie going to add more unlockable stuff in the game after you beat certain things? (please confirm) I would like that! (maybe unlock new game modes or skings or something like that)

So does anyone actually know when Halo 2 for the PC is coming out? I've always thought that when games are released, they are released for both the console and the computer at the same time.

Actually right now I have nVIDIA geforce 3, 64bit graphics card and it runs Halo very smoothly and nicely. The textures look great and I've never had any jams with it,framerate is nice too. I think they're pretty cheap now.
However as Halo 2 is coming out soon (and many other games) I think I'm probably going to get a nicer graphics card, such as a geforce 4, or a forceware. Which ever one I do get I'm going to get high memory on the card so that the framerate is smooth - probably 256bit or something, and even that would only be a couple hundred.

Actually, saying that Xbox games and their PC equivalents, such as Star Wars: KotOR and it's PC edition (which came out months after the Xbox one), is untrue. Most games that are ported from a system to a PC, or more likely, PC to system, usually take months inbetween, and that's even if it's a direct port, with only control schemes optimized and code changes etc. If graphics have to be dumbed down, new features are implemented, or anything of that sort, it could take uo to a year. Besides, Bungie has not confirmed that it will release Halo 2 on PC. I've heard rumours that Halo:CE was ported only to entice PC gamers to buy an Xbox when Halo 2 would launch (and stay) exclusive.
