Subject: Backround on your screen while playing metropolis

Jason Jones of Bungie famously said of Halo 2 that: "it's Halo 1 on fire going 120 miles per hour through a hospital zone chased by helicopters and ninjas. And the ninjas are all on fire too." As a sequel, Halo 2 couldn't quite live up to that extravagant claim.

Hey I was playing Metropolis and I noticed that they're was this backround on my screen as I was playing it was a tree and a bridge I think. I was out of batteries for my camera so I couldnt take a pic of it. Just wondering has anyone else ever seen that.

Screen burn? Yeah, thats just an emulation glitch. Nothing to worry about really, restarting your Xbox fixes the problem.

I think I know what you are talking about. I have same problem on Metropolis and last two levels where you play as Arbiter. This is "official" bug of xbox360 Halo emulation. For me - annoying like hell. No ideas if Microsoft is going to do something with it - porbably not :(

All right thanks for telling me what it is. Actually today it did that on headlong it was buildings and the ring thing. Does it do something like that on every level/map.

It's not necessarily 'screen burn'. It's a buffering error, with fog and such effects. It does it a lot on Backwash, Lockout, and some other maps.. Like Trigger said, restarting your 360 fixes it. (Or just restarting Halo 2, I believe.)
