A lime a day keeps teh scurvy at bay.
This is awesome news, Bungie, thanks. Of course, I'll have to spring for another xbox 360, but such is life.
I can't believe all the whining though. How disgusting. You guys realize that the ODSTs and regular marines not only lack shielding, but height, jumping height, and speed? Also, your weapons selection would be far more limited. good job. All this because the Hud color was purplish or because the Arbiter levels were too difficult for you. Geez, I couldn't soak up your tears with a dozen towels, you babies. Lame.
And to clear up the Spartan bit: Maria isn't active duty, though that may change in-game, if she's even survived the invasion force. Remember, we still have no idea what transpires in the up-coming comics. The remaining Spartan-IIIs (sans teams katana, gladius [KIA], the other one, and Team Foxtrot of Beta Company) may also be en-route. Again, they may have engaged forces elsewhere, or fought and possibly died in the comics, or show up later in the game. The Spartan-IIs sans Chief and Maria (and possibly Cassandra if she's one [check Conv. of the Universe]) are accounted for: inside the onyx dyson sphere thingy. Although there was open speculation on the elusive Gray Team (perhaps cassandra was a member of that team???); and Dr. Halsey commented on at least one other S-II missing, a male by some name I cannot recall. Really, though, the Master Chief is on his own in that regard. realistically (in terms of the story), the only options would logically be the elites to help him. although it is a shame not to be able to play as Sir Vadumee. :'(
Although i favour the aesthetic appeal of the blue-ish elite most (I'm thinking that's player 3), the other one's interesting nonetheless. A vacuum-ready suit (which is why i'm certain that's player four, as i'd suppose the covenant ship security detail may need such suits for whatever reason) that looks much like the Halo 2 ranger elites, minus the jetpack, as Sesa the Heretic Leader looked (and functioned) like one, minus the helmet. All-in-all, i likey, and cannot wait.
