When you dual wield the same weapon do they share ammo or do they have individual clips? And when one of the weapons runs out, will it reload by itself or will it wait until both guns are empty to reload at one time.

I would expect that they share the ammo cache, but have individual clips. As for ammo running out in one, but not the other, it will reload by itself regardless of what the other is doing.

i disagree, i mean how the hell do you reload while you are firing the other gun? I would think that you wait untill they are both empty or only when you arn't firing the other one.

How do you reload if you have another gun in your other hand?

there is a video of the E3 2004 where people played behincd closed doors. it showed one guy holding a needler and smg and he reloaded just the smg by itself while still firing the needler. i dont know the exact link to the video so u will have to hope someone else knows

he reloaded by pressing a button on the smg and literally shaking off the clip. Then the smg goes off the screen for about 2 seconds and it comes back loaded. The needler is different, it takes about 1/2 a second to reload. He just presses a button on the needler(with his left hand) and the needles come out. I dont remember the link, it was really complex and stuff but go around and ask ash55 he knows

Well theres probably a button on the side of the grip that when he press it allows the clip to be shaken off and to be reaload with ease.

Yes you can reload with one hand and fire with the other, they balance it out well though.

The SMG is probably the best DW weapon becuase it's a bullet hose, however, when you're DW it takes 2-3 seconds to reload, that's quite a long time in battle.

The Needler, on the other hand, while it has relatively low ammo and probably not much punch-per-needle, has amazing tracking and the fastest reload of the DW weapons I;ve seen thus far.

Here's all the relevant Halo 2 videos on one site:

P.S. Yes you can fire one while the other is loading, watch the vids
