Europa would be the best place to search for life, but not sentient life. NASA is doing studies to find other "Earth's" by looking at the rotation of Stars. They can see a slight wobble, much like the "wobble" when people throw the discus in the Olympics. We haven't had any "documented" alien life. There have been all of these shows on Roswell and such, but none have really any facts (or been on the Discovery channel or Science channel for that matter) There is evidence of alien life coming to Earth, but most of it is extremley vague, and a skilled surgeon could've done the same thing [extremley precise (down to the micrometer) cow mutilations] But there hasn't been any solid evidence shown to the public that proves or disproves the existence of Sentient life in the universe. However, it is almost impossible that there is no Sentient life because we represent about (very small number, couldn't fit it in the post) Basically, for every grain of sand on the Earth, there are 10,000 solar systems. (there is a lot of sand on the earth)
