Or because they didn't like having the MP5 nerfed.

Halo 2, It's the best FPS to date.

Mine? I hope your kidding, it revolutionized online multiplayer and it's Pregame party lobbies are those to be envied.
Only thing better than Halo 2, is Halo 3 but even that is a different style of gameplay, more of Rainbow Six.

Halo 2 isn't the best FPS to date, it may have made an online communtity bigger and expanded on it, but it isn't anywhere close to best FPS, it may be up there, but Half-Life 2 is a much better FPS. Not even counting BioShock, and Crysis. (And I am only comparing these games because of their revolutionary engines, and their gameplay experience.

Amd I thought Perfect Dark Zero was better than PD on n64.

What? WHAT!?!?

Dude, The original Perfect Dark was WAY better than PD0. I'm talking like orders of magnitude better. I'm sure you only think that because Joannas boobs are rendered better on the 360. Although I admit, she does have a nice rack...
...what?

Yeah, it did. On consoles. In 2004.

Halo 2, the best FPS to date? Because Half-Life 2's awesome and immersive storyline pales in comparison to Halo 2's disappointing, confusing muddle of a Campaign, right? And Halo 2's unbalanced multiplayer and numerous exploits are something truly to be admired?

After all, if not for those great features, one of Halo 2's redeeming factors is originality. Holding two guns at once? That's amazing! I've never seen that in a first-person shooter before. Never.

The only thing Halo ever revolutionized and will revolutionize are profits for Microsoft.

Halo: Combat Evolved Multiplayer < Halo 2 Multiplayer

Blatant lie.

The statement nullifies any credibility you may have previously had. But I have to admit, it gave me a pretty good laugh. Hey! While you're at it, compare Super Mario Bros to Sonic the Hedgehog.

Yeah, that's kinda sad, actually that someone can think of a way to curse with the same word for about the entire sentence long. But, the poster, even though she may be semi-hawt, isn't a very good camera person. :/

What is it with all the guys here talking about a chick's "rack" anyways? Oh, and yes, that is your typical Halo 2 Pre-Game Lobby. It's all about '-blam!- -blam!- -blam!- dip-blam!- damnit -blam!- -blam!- -blam!-'.

Halo 2 implamented the No health pack and the rechargable shield/health duck and cover type system.
As for the kid comparing Halo 2 and Bioshock, your funny I said HALO 2 IS THE BEST FPS TO DAY (Bioshock isn't even out yet)

When you little kids know what your talking about then you can reply to me.

No, pal, it's the other way around. YOU don't know what you're talking about. Sure, I love the Halo series, I really do. But wow, the shield thing of your supposed "systems" developed in Halo 2 was already there. As of the health pack, what's the problem with it? No big deal, seriously. Barely anybody used it anyways, so don't cry if an enemy kills you and takes it. It's part of the game and Bungie just took it down for God-Knows-What reason.

[EDIT]

Oh, and just to let you know, there are better games out there other than Halo.

Get out. You retard. Oh, and for your knowledge I am not a 'kid', and just because you are a retarded fanboy doesn't mean a thing to the people here. Half-Life 2 is out, and is way better than Halo 2. Just because you are naive and think that you are the 'smartest' thing to happen upon the internet, which you aren't, because if you were than you would at the least spell half way decent. And yes, fyi, BioShock is out, there is a demo of it on the Xbox Live Marketplace, a demo is beating Halo 2.

...So? Is that "revolutionary"? Do you honestly consider that "innovative"? "Duck and cover type system"? Hey, gamers have been ducking behind cover in games for years; you need to play more games. Even then, what's so special about it to begin with? Nothing, really.

You mean Halo 2 implemented the noob-friendly no health no worries game play. Rechargeable shields have been done before. Ducking from fire? That's been there since guns were invented.

As for everything else, please don't act over the age of 18 when you are clearly more so closer around 13 or 14. Halo hasn't done anything revolutionary in any sense whatsoever. The weapons, vehicles, and enemies are cookie cutters from even Doom95 days. They aren't dynamic and they serve only one purpose. And as for originality? Yeah, I sure three different genres of enemies (human, Covenant, and Flood) is so original. I'm never reminded of Starcraft when I play Halo. Never. I mean, seven-foot-tall aliens that are zealous in their ways and have rechargeable shields? An alien species that consumes everything in site and spreads like a virus? And to tie it all off there's a mysterious race from which everyone draws their technology from? How about the fact that the concept of the Halo ring structures themselves come from a book?

I can go on, but I'm sure at this time embarrassment has settled in. Come back in a few years after you've grown up and have done some research.

Yeah, and the Flood Infection forms ability to take over a host's body doesn't remind me at all of Half-Life's headcrabs.

Combo breaker!

The only thing Halo has done is proved that shooters could be played on a console (with its superb controls built for the gamepad and auto-aim). The ability to throw a grenade without needing to equip it, energy shields that recharged, and a melee function with every weapon in the game were pretty nifty features, but aside from that, nothing else is new.

So, you only argument for Halo 2 being the best FPS ever is the recharging health system? Pretty damn weak if you ask me. Let's see, what FPS games were/are better than Halo?

1: Half-Life
2: Half-Life 2
3: Farcry
4: Doom II
5: Soldier of Fortune
6: Soldier of Fortune II: Double Helix
7: Star Wars: Battlefront
8: Star Wars: Dark Forces II: Jedi Knight
9: Perfect Dark
10: GoldenEye
11: Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis
12: Unreal
13: Quake
14: Rainbow Six: Rogue Spear
15: Halo: Combat Evolved

None of those games are in any particular order, but I will say that they are ALL better than Halo 2. So please try to come up with something a little better than "recharging health" for a reason.

That would be none, because no other developer would be as STUPID enough to remove something that was tied into your life expectancy and in an effort to dumb down the game for children who threw fits in not being able to be a fair match against veteran players after three hours of playing the game. Not only was "recharging health" stupid, it didn't revolutionize anything except glee and happiness for children who bought the game on the hopes of not having to worry about the consequences of death. The same goes for the absence of fall damage.

What he said. Though Gears has a recharging health system, and that game owns.

So does Call of Duty 2, and all the subsequent titles in the series, and they came after Halo 2.
