That said, who remembers Halo 2 before the first updates?
And please tell me what weapons you think should have stayed and which ones were better off changed.

Meh, I can't remember it all too well. The one thing I remember perfectly though was when you'd have a "beatdown battle" between two people each exchanging 5 beatdowns before someone would die.

Do you remember that dual magnums was the winning combination when put up against virtually any weapon? Including Battle Rifle Plasma Pistol combos. Rockets etc. Then they weakened the magnums and strengthened the BR. Now that made EVERYTHING change.

Haha, now that you say that I do remember that. I also remember that it sucked for me because I sucked (and still do) at tapping buttons.

Nah man it wasn't about tapping the buttons. It was about gettin every shot on their head. If you could do that then you could go right through two people on two clips of ammo. (one in each hand)
