I'm assuming this is for the desktop, not in-game, correct? Because I can only run Halo PC at 800 X 600. :/

Now, in the quantum moment before the closure, when all become one. One moment left. One point of space and time. I know who you are. You are destiny.

1280x1024 when I play Halo PC. 800x600 windowed or fullscreen also at 1280x1024 in Halo 2. Both games run very smoothly fullscreen and Halo 2 lags a bit when windowed. However, still really good.

1920x1080 on desktop with Halo 2 Vista windowed at 1280x720. Whenever I upgrade my video cards I plan on seeing if I can run H2V at 1920x1080 (same aspect ratio as 1280x720 =D), but it's somewhat laggy as my specs are now. Back when I played Halo CE I ran it at 1280x1024.

Yes, I am a hypocrite, and I'm sorry. I really do mean well, but I'm not running on all cylinders.

Everytime someone buys a copy of Halo 2 Vista, a puppy dies.

I am running 1280x768 on my standard desktop since its a 15.4 widescreen moniter. Thats the max it can go. When I play Halo CE I can push it to 1280x768 in any game besides rockets; which kills my framerate. Other games I run it at 800x600 since I like to turn up settings (newer games).

I am getting a newer moniter so I can get a resolution of 1920x1080 or 1920x1200. I prefer the first one because, well, its true 1080p HD and the next one is more or less like 1080i. My TV (before it broke) was a 47" HD TV with 1080i/p resolution. Playing on that beast was amazing. I only got 10 FPS out of the game since but it was worth those few second of awesomeness.

actually 1920x1200 has a higher resolution than 1920x1080, it's not like 1080i
