Is there a glitch where if you throw a plasma grenade through another grenade's explosion, it homes in on a target?

I just saw a Halo 2 1x1 Montage by a guy named Kraynium name ONE: Link to Montage - I got the link from the HBO news page HBO News. The Montage Is amazing.
The montage contains a bunch of clips where he throws a plasma grenade through another grenade's explosion and the plasma grenade flies accross the board from the blast and sticks on to people - it's in there a lot.

Is this guy ridiculously L33T (possible) or is there something going on behind the scenes? How do you even estimate where that grenade will go after it gets bounced by the explosion?

Please no group invites... I only play MLG customs and don't spend my time wasting it on groups, clans or any other internet social crap.

Practice and the understanding this came from Halo CE, but NO there is no homing grenade glitch.
Some also look staged and if he tried them alot you don't get to see the failed attempts, this is a montage not gameplay.

Many of those are either HOST or on LAN, grenades don't bouce that well in LIVE and neither to grenades jumps.
Most of those jump snipes and so forth off energy cores woudn't be used.

My logic is undeniable.

Don't send me group invites.

My best guess would be that he plays t excess records it all and on the odd occasion he performs particularly well he cuts it out and uses it to compile a montage. I'm sure you've got a few sticks even you thought were total bulls***. I know I have, just I don't record all my games so can't show anyone all the best bits. Me and a friend, used to use somthing similar in Halo 1, a flare, two plasmas thrown in the same place, the first detonates to send th other directly upwards, a good way to show your location in certain situations on system link.

Sticking people thru the floor and sniping thru the floor?
I'm not talking about the staged grenade tosses, or the times where the other guy doesn't start shooting at him untill he is stuck, or even the abuse of host grenade jumping.

Okay.
If you mean by sniping through a wall as to be when he leaves cover and fires. thats not a glitch.
I only noticed when he shot through the glass in lockout as a glitch.

LOL, now you're going to complain about ghandi jumping.?

Amazing.

All i hear from you every time you post is blah blah blah, everyone's a cheater.

What's the next cheat? Melee reloading? Portal Jumping? Nade jumping on host? Funny, nade jumping is actually supposed to be in the game, yet only host can do it. that seems considerably more unfair to me than glitches and sorts that everyone can do.

*ding ding ding* we have a winner.

Too the OP, the guy who made that montage is just rediculously lucky IMO.

All of this ^^ is true...he is either playing infant new-borns, or his enemies play with their mental handicap on severe.

Or aren't expecting his unorthodox style of doing things.

Those are all H3F kids. they aren't good, but they certainly are better than most of the people in these forums.

Those weren't staged either. Lucky? yes. Staged? No.

There's no way that guy could be that consistently ridiculously lucky. If it were a one time thing where he bounced a grenade off another explosion and it stuck someone - that's fine. The montage was composed of almost nothing but sticking people with grenades bounced off another explosion - it might be staged (Some of it must have been) but it wasn't pure luck or else it would have only happened once.

He's really good at nade launches, obviously, but there's still an insane amount of luck thrown in too.

Knowing how H3F kids operate, he probably did 1v1s all day, for the longest time, just looking for clips. he probably didn't even care about winning, he just consistently nade launched etc to try to get sick montage kills. For every one of those sticks he got, he probably had a ton of misses.

That also is the truth, no doubt.

True, he did get lucky a lot, and true, he probably did just cut together many of his best shots but... look at it! There's obviously a TON of skill behind these tricks; quit cutting him short. You can't just throw random grenades and and hope for the best, not to mention he's obviously good at normal online play.

And yeah, he did use a glitch, but consider how hard it would have been to time and aim at the correct spot on the glass on lockout; just executing it like that would take loads of skill.

PS: Is there a quicktime version of this available? I couldn't hear the music when I watched it on the net and the download won't run on my PC.... does the sound play a big part in the enjoyment of the movie? ='(
