You know what I used to do with betrayers on Halo PC? When I was hosting, I'd simply turn on a trainer and spawn camp the H3LL out of 'em ;-) There's nothing more rewarding in a tournament than than owning an actual cheater to the point where they quit without any fear of retaliation. And just to clarify, I would not actually parcipate in the game itself just to keep things fair, but would sit on the sidelines and wait. I may do that for the Vista varient. Keep in mind that only hosts can use trainers.
You know what's even more rewarding than that? Actually kicking a cheater's ass without needing to cheat yourself. :P

But how would you combat someone with invulnerability enabled? ...other than just leaving the server?

Hello, Community!

Hopefully if you're reading this, it's because you're interesting in kicking your campaign experience up a notch by cranking up the Legendary with all skulls activated :-) Need advice? A guide? Maybe even a friendly community to cheer you on and help guide you through the process? Then give our Mythic thread a read, and Godspeed on your Mythic journey!

Best Regards,

Slaying noobs since 2007.

You stare at the ceiling, and don't move the entire game, duh!

You were talking about Halo PC, though, there is no invincibility hack. :P

Well if the server is set up correctly, they will have included the tk_ban parameters. If there is not a admin present to kick the offender, that allows you to remove the offender yourself after so many TK's. Our servers are set to 4 TK's before the person is banned for 15 minutes, and then the time increases if they come back and continue doing it.

They way you do it is once they TK you, since it doesn't hurt you, just shoot yourself and they get the TK. We've had noob come into our server and know this feature and will stand behind me in the tank when I'm manouvering and as soon as I run into them they kill them selves trying to get me knocked out of the tank so they can take it. Those are the ones I really enjoy kicking from the server ;-)

CVS is one of the fairest Halo 2 players I've come across. Which server is yours?

I'm saying that the Trainer/Aimbot/Mod system most likely applies to Halo 2 Vista in the exact same way that it did in Halo 1 PC, and there *is* an invincibility hack on the Halo 2 Vista Trainer... so in the event you were to encounter this player, what would you do?

Same. If you're firing rockets, sword lunging, using the battle rifle/plasma pistol combo, and they're still standing, then that's a pretty good indicator. I'd blacklist the cheater and their server using this thread.

Unfortunately we (CV Clan "Carpe Vexillum") don't have any H2 servers running yet, but we have several H1 servers running. They usually appear on the first page of servers if sorted by server name. CV0, CV1, CV2, CV3, CV4, CV5.

Or that could just be Halo 2. I can't tell you how many times I've lunged at somewhat with the Energy Sword, and it doesn't do a thing. But whatever, I haven't played Halo 2 Vista yet. :)

Now, in the quantum moment before the closure, when all become one. One moment left. One point of space and time. I know who you are. You are destiny.

I haven't been able to make my Halo 2 Vista play online, so I can't know for sure if it's perhaps the game's netcode being as bad as that of the first game, but from all I have heard, most people cry and hit it about not working on their PC's, not about the Internet.

The netcode is NOT as bad as Halo 1 PC... not even comparable.

I experienced the same -blam!- today, D0D0 and the CTF Coag server. The server and him were abusing random people. I told them to go f themselves, and quit.

Just make a personal list of those who pull stuff like this, and when you see any of the names on your list on the game lobby listing, just find another game.

LOL! My name comes up in a cheater discussion. Wow! This actually is a compliment because I don't cheat, don't know how to cheat, and never would cheat. I must be good to frustrate a noob to the point of making a topic and complaining about nothing. Let's get to the point of what this is really about Tyrant k? The ES clan server is not mine, and I have nothing to do with it or the clan. If whoever runs the server wants to boot you because all you do is camp in the same spot all game, then that is his prerogative. IT'S NOT CHEATING! Play in a different server that likes campers and noobs that ask other players to bring them a shotgun or brute shot lol. Seriously, you don't shutup and you are annoying. Maybe that's why you got booted? One thing I do like about this server is that fact that when the teams are uneven, and people don't switch over, the server boots people that made the teams uneven in the first place. This game is such a piece of garbage! Why are people allowed to delay start of game, and why are people allowed to change teams in the first place?

There's a little thing called tactics you need to learn and employ in your strategy if you are to become a truly good player. That, and it would help if you had some self-respect to analyze your own annoyance levels before calling anyone else annoying. Just because someone annoys you does not mean that they are an annoying person in general.

This is not a tactical game. Geez where do you people come from. Seriously, has anyone played H2 on Xbox? It blows this horrible ported garbage away. Has anyone tried using a mic in this game? It's laughable, and shame on the devs for not fixing terrible flaws that were discovered 2 years ago on Xbox 1. Halo is a noobfest, where people can get in vehicles and run eachother over all game, not a tactical shooter. Play Counterstrike if you want tactics and camping. Play this game if you want to own campers like Tyrant 30 times in a row <---- I might have killed you more than that.

I'm sorry that you don't see Halo for the game it truly is. Halo is not like most shooters, it's slower and takes more strategy than just running and gunning. There are so many different ways to kill someone that strategy plays a prominent role in any serious match. You must take what your opponent expects and do something completely different to throw him or her off-guard so you can score the kill. Sure, you *can* use the same tactic over and over, but predictable opponents are easily killed, as they throw the same moves at you, you find a way to stop them... and continually do so until they do something else, then you adjust your strategy to combat their new approach.

If think it's garbage than go back to Xbox. Only a moron would play a game he/she didn't like, and only someone who doesn't know how to play turns CTF into Slayer.

I'm still waiting for someone in these forums to back up your claims.
