Heyyo,
PROS:
-up to 1000 people voice chatting at once is pretty neat. :)
-MANY servers, never a shortage
-Create channels with passwords
-you can pick your codec to suit your bandwith/quality needs
-channel admins can boot people from channels, it's funny to tell a friend "dude, your mic's breaking up.. I ---- ant--- derst----" and then kick him from the channel for fun. =D
-the chick's announcer voice is smexy ;)
-you can set voice recording to either button push, or voice activation level (if mic picks up sounds higher than a preset value it records)
-you can mute your mic or other people
-you can join teamspeak servers that friends are on easily by xfire intergration ;)
CONS:
-people who have massive echo due to bad mic/distance-from-speaker tuning
-not reccomended for dial up connections, cause they're just too slow, you need a connection that at least does 15KB/S DL and probably 8KB/S upload...
