Frequently when I am playing Halo 2 on my Xbox 360, the game is thrown into the blue connecting to server screen and after that I find out that I am split into my own game and there is no one else remaining. I figured it was because everyone else quit, but a friend of mine came over and brought his 360 and we played matchmaking. My problem happened again, but this time he and everyone else were still playing and I was the only one by myself. We were both plugged into the same router. What is up with this?!

This has happend to me and my friends a few times.
I have about 10 friends that I play with online that also
live close to me. (we are real friends also, although I
don't see them much unless Halo comes up!)

The best I can figure is...
a) I lagged out just enough to be dropped, but not enough to dissconnect from XBL.
b) I was booted by a bridger because I was doing well in the game.
c) I was host and did not have a sufficient connection speed.

Also, don't bump... I got in trouble by ninjas the last time I did it.

Well if it were "open NAT" settings his friend would've been disconnected also once connected to the router from the other xbox. Idk what to tell you. You should probably send in your console for repair? My friend is doing the same thing but he's a little stubborn to try someone else's xbox on his router. But since you did that I'm sure its probably your xbox.
