Subject: Found someone claiming to use an AIMBOT

I'm there but, man this is really starting to sound like communism.
Long live the MAW.

LoL you cant really be mad at people if they accuse you of aimbotting, alot of noobs do it... or if you make some lucky shots it usually expected. Halo 1 PC has indeed died of because of aimbots, that and the fact that alot of the amazing players left..

wow, Halo PC doesn't have many aimbotters... CSS (Counter Strike: Source) has way more than Halo PC. and guess how many people are still playing CSS? just because theres about 10-15 aimbotters on Halo right now, doesn't mean that the whole game is 'ruined'.

sorry, we kinda highjacked the thread :P
regarding Halo 2 Vista aimbotters, make sure you know they're aimbotting, not just good. If someone decides to 'flag' you as aimbotting because your good wouldn't be very fun, would it?

Tell your wife to try to start a game, with him and her playing ( as enemies ). If he's using an aimbot, he will look straight at her ( even if she's behind him ) is a split seconds, he can't use shift either, unless this is an updated aimbot, I'm assuming it's the one that has been used. He'll also aim at teamates, the bot WILL aim for the head, even a teamate, to it they're all just players.

If he hits every shot ( defently a sniper ) he is most likly botting, if he doesn't do any of the above, then he's probally good and was joking.

EDIT: Tell your wife to crouch sometimes to, the aimbot can't lock on to crouchers I think, or it has trouble.

Yodalicious does NOT use hacks of any sort. He is a found of our gaming community www.positivegc.com. He is very good because he has played a LOT. He gets blamed for cheating a lot and was joking around. If you would like to play him more to see for yourself jump on our teamspeak, but take it from me he will make you frusterated.

Ok.... I remember your wife and all that happened that night. There was an idiot on the server yelling at me to leave the server everytime I got a kill. He was accusing me of aimbotting many times. Your wife and I exchanged some talk about this character. I jokingly sent her a reply that I was using an aimbot because of this idiot that was extremely annoying and pestering me after every single kill. I hate cheaters more than anything. I have no idea how you found out i played in '05 as I did not play under that account on xbox (upon further review, apparently someone else has the same name as me...), only on friends accounts at school. I played a lot so I know the maps, where the good weapons are, the good sniping spots, places to ambush, how to watch the radar correctly, etc. I am really getting sick of being accused of cheating by H2V players who have never played on xbox and think they are good (Present company excluded). So, yes, that was a joke, maybe a bad one, and I have learned my lesson not to joke about it to people. If you want proof, add me to your friends and lets play. My GamerTag is Yodalicous.

PS: My accuracy was under 50%, seems like a pretty bad aimbot to me. :)

My coworker downloaded the bot, and it does work.
Its ridiculously effective and very easy to use. Its pretty much insta kill.

Once you see it in use its VERY easy to identify. I promise you MANY more than 10-15 players are using it, lol.

Its simply an auto tracker, but is very effective. The one flaw is the identifying snap to target it uses.
I saw this a few months ago and attributed it to lag or a spastic player, but I will make this mistake no longer!

You have options to adjust FOV, draw distance, and the height at which it shoots, thusly ducking wont help if the bot user has the sense to configure it.

We ran around on a few servers not shooting just looking and we counted well over 50 people using it on 10 or so servers that we jumped around on.
Some people openly admitted to using it laughing about it when we called them on it.

Its very much in use. Do not kid yourself.
Sadly not much can be done about it. We dont have an anti cheat system in Halo.

Uh, no, I wouldn't say so. It's not that effective.

I wouldn't say that easily. People accuse me of botting all the time, and I'm not. :P

Yes, you shall make this mistake because in fact, it is not. Lag and quick reflexes often make a player appear to be using an aimbot when he's not.

Are we talking about the same bot?

Yeah, but I hardly meet anybody using an aimbot whenever I play Halo.

well KIM after your post I feel much better, Ill just forget everything I saw.
LOL.

I think perhaps you may not have seen this bot, if you havent seen the one with FOV and shot height adjustable via its GUI.

It is pretty freakin accurate./shrug its here, it wont go away, bungie wont care.

Pretty soon someone will make a zbot like the original one from quake 2 that auto fired in any direction.

Wow, I remember the aimbot for Halo PC/CE. I had it once, someone sent me the real one that was supposed to be in the Zelda map by that one guy (banana something?) and I tried it in a game. It was a movie-making game and I didn't shoot anyone, just checking to see if it really locked on. It does, and then it gave me an execption, so there it goes into recycle bin. I still have CAMERA MODS by the guy, like flycam and 3rd person, it changes the game. But there's one more thing i hate and thats the bot on DieselPL's 3rd Server on Halo Custom Edition. His name is Midnite, and he apparently has emotions, because I tked him once (jumping-headshot tk), later in the game he comes and kills me. seriously, ai with payback options? And when you check out the scoreboards (F1) his spot is there, but he's a blank. And someone programmed him to have aimbot, because my friends kept getting spawn killed. He's also a rocket -blam!-.

The bungie.net community is the halo PC community that is renowned for being unbelieveably sucky.

Wait, Rugerx, are you talking about H2V here? You are saying that H2V has an aimbot...already?

Obviously Halo PC is full of cheats and cheaters...

H2V released with an aimbot...the controller. But no there isn't an aimbot yet.

lawl, another person who claims that a mouse/keyboard are better and more accurate than a controller, yet they can't keep up with a little auto-aim which actually cripples most pad users compared to helping them.

Dude, guys like Static are on a whole different level than you, on any platform, both H1 and H2.

Lol, for those of you who don't know Halo 2 as an aimbot built in. Just plug in a xbox 360 controller and go. See it already has a built in aimbot it could easily be manipulated to pretty much point at at the head instead of the body.

Yes, she actually plays a heckuva lot more than I do.

Also, I very much apologize. I'm very much against cheaters, but I suppose I jumped the gun a little. Please, Yoda, forgive me.

At long range (minus sniping), the controller aimbot is negligible... however it is in close range combat that the unfairness is really shown. A controller-user will NEVER miss a melee attack, and that's just the way it is... and when you're a Keyboard/Mouse user and you've got a spot of lag (doesn't even take much, really), you'll miss your melee, and they'll still hit theirs because of the sticky-aim... For the pros, this may not be a big deal, but for casual players, this is a really annoying aspect of the game.

...There's no melee lunge when you use a mouse and keyboard? Now that's retarded.

The lunge move is there, but if you're going against a controller user, for whatever reason, theirs connects and yours does not.

In HPC, it appears as though there is a new thing for noobs to accuse me of. "Clickbotting". Lmao? Apparently, I play like normal, and when I shoot, it corrects whatever off-target aiming I have and headshots. I've been accused of cheating countless amount of times and can honestly say I've only run into a handful of botters. The cheating is nowhere near as bad as people say it is, really.

Now, in the quantum moment before the closure, when all become one. One moment left. One point of space and time. I know who you are. You are destiny.

Yeah, a friend of mine who's mouse is just screwed and he's too lazy to buy a new one. His mouse sometimes double clicks and fires faster. Works wonders. :)
