I dont know what its called but if anyone has seen Itwasluck's 6th montage where in the beginning it pans over midship and on the part where he noscopes someone from BR tower to the guy jumping from lift it goes into a cinematic-like thing.

Or if you havent seen that, Walshy's montage at the beginning it follows his sniper bullet and it says Walshy on it.

Well I wanted to do something like that for my montage. Does anyone know how to do this, what I would need, how its done?

If this is a stupid question sorry.
If this is the wrong forum sorry (it has to do with Halo 2 I think)
If its already been answered somewhere sorry

Im not sure how you do it, but people who edit their montages that much are dumb, a montage is supposed to show your skill in halo not your video editing skills.

A montage isnt made to show skill, its made to be entertaining to watch and those things make it VERY entertaining

What you need in order to do something like in walshy's montage is a 3D graphics rendering program... such as 3DS Max. You also have to know how to do it... consitering you didn't even know that, I'd say your only real chance of getting something like that in your own montage is to contact someone like "Veggie" (the guy who did it for Walshy's montage).

I downloaded Gmax and im sure (with a lot of time) I could learn how to do it. I have no idea how im supposed to get the 3d models though...
Im very stupid when it comes to this, do you know how I'm supposed to get the models?

You should probably check out Halo Grid.

You can find lots of help there.
