I think of a good player as someone who, more than anything, raises the morale of the team, even in losing situations. They have the ability to call out maps like the back of their hand, and can drill a few shots into someone without the passionate desire to finish them off for themselves. A good TEAM player desires assists over kills.
A good player, based on individual skill, always has a strategy for whatever situation he/she's in. They can manipulate where their opponents are by placing shots or grenades specifically, forcing them into corners or off the map, or even out into the open. Knowing how to button-glitch and stick someone well doesn't make you a good player. Manipulating them so that they're reacting to YOU makes you a good player.
Make the opponents cry themselves to sleep, then say, "Good game," and you're a good player.
