I'm very curious if you can use HEK to make a new campaign mode in Halo CE by basically inserting AI, forming paths you must go to (with map design), changing all the weapons/vehicles, adding more audio (Frogblast the Ventcore!) for AI, make cinematics (though these aren't necessary for the game I want to "port") and limiting the number of players max to "2"?Maybe I have the wrong idea or something, any help would be greatly appreciated =)[Edited on 08.06.2007 11:39 PM PDT]
CE; most definetly. H2V Good luck. The only reason why you can't in H2V is just like why you couldn't in CE to start out, no one has cracked the lock on the single player tools.

I'm guessing you want to port marothon, and I would like to say: That would be -blam-ing awesome. Marathon has a sweet storyline but noone wants to play it becuase the graphics are so outdated, but if it was remade then more people would play it. And btw, why limit it to 2? Marathon supported 8-player co-op.
He said nothing about porting marathon.
Alright, thanks guys....I can do things like import new player models (how would I make them? Just 3Ds max as a skin or something?) and audio (I assume this would be simple...) and stuff like that? And yeah, my and my group want to port the Marathon trilogy into the Halo engine...maybe I will make it 4 players max or the classic 8....wouldn't 8 be too simple to beat though?
I don't know man; good luck recreating Marathon, hahaha. :)
