Poll: Would you purchase Halo with Live enabled?  [closed]
I would purchase Halo again if it had Live!:  76%
(121 Votes)
I will just stick with Halo 2.:  24%
(39 Votes)
Total Votes: 160

I personally would spend the $50 to buy Halo if it was reworked for Live. I see that many people are asking for the original maps to be download content, but why not just a whole new game? Even if it was just the MP maps and that is all, I would still buy it. In fact, I would probably never play Halo 2 again if I had it. What do you think?

So here is your chance to get some more of my money Bungie/MS. Make it and we'll all buy.

I would spend 200 dollars for a live enable version of halo 1. And i'm not joking. I miss halo 1, and hate halo 2

I miss Halo too. I recently moved and can't play LANs with my friends as much as I used too, so I am stuck with playing H2 on Live. In a couple weeks, we are all getting together to play. They all like H2 because they are now a little better according to the number of kills they obtain, but there won't be any H2 being played as long as two of the Xboxes there are mine.

$200 might be a little too high, but I might be willing to go up to a $100. If MS knew the kind of money they could make, you would think that the money alone would be enough reason.

What maps are offered with the PC version that isn't in the Xbox version? I just figured that they were refering to the better image quality because of the faster CPU and graphics card.

People can make home made downloadable maps that people can just plug in and play. There are pretty much an infinite number of them.

This poll should be on the front page of Bungie.net

I mean what is Bungie afraid of if they made the game that they wanted to always make.

If they made Halo with good Live support, I would buy it and resubscribe to Live (I cancelled it because I know I won't play Halo 2 that much).

I would buy it for an Xbox live enabled co-op mode. I want to play with a friend(s) through the story, against bad guys. Gives it life, ya' know?

Well, I said I would, but Im a maybe. I love halo 2, especially its online mode, and to fork up the cash just for halo 1 online, thats not easy to make a decision on. If you look at it one way, we have the original maps back, but then again, we MAY get those in an update one day.
I might do it, b ut id most likely stick to halo 2.

Def. Bring it back...theres another thread on this too. Miss halo1, unlike halo 2, i requires skill.

I kno exactly how everyone is feeling who wants halo online. I mean one could always play XBC but that is terrible with lag. Xbox live is so much better and i would love to see halo online. If it were to happen i would pay 50 bucks or more if i had to. This game was a console seller. The xbox has evolved why not halo. I am a beliver that if we can get enough people to make an impact with bungie they might consider it but I am not sure how this will gain popularity
