I have seen one aegia enabled game, pretty slick. Not heavily implemented right now but certainly has huge potential to augmenting future games.

Have you ever noticed that all of these people that start these "post your specs" threads all SAY they have dual 800GTX's LOL. Hmmm, that's close to $1000 for a couple of video cards. I spent less than that for my entire system with an 8600GT and a 22" widescreen monitor and I can play H1 and H2 at their highest resolution with no lag. So Ancients, what are you getting for your $1000 worth of graphics cards that I'm not getting with my $140 card? Besides an empty bank account ROFL.

Er... not that big a difference. Both are dual core, and 3.2 GHz operating frequency isn't that bad...at all.

Gamer on a budget:

AMD Athlon 64 X2 4600+ (2.4 GHz)
1 GeForce 7950GT OC DDR3 512MB
2 GB RAM
250gb Hard Drive
Integrated Sound
Windows XP Media Center 2005 upgraded to Vista Home Basic Ed.
OEM HP case

which is worth about 2 or 3 high end graphics cards 1 yr ago.

Yeah, but the Core 2 Duo's architecture is much better than the Pentium D.

Nice Laptop. I was thinking about getting one of those so I can work and navigate on the road. Does it run Halo 2 smoothly even on the lowest settings?

Most of the PC issues posted here are the result of PEBKAC.

Lol I got one of the worse PCs here.

Intel Pentium 4 3.06 GHZ running at 3.14 GHz (not capable of Hyperthreading for some reason)
1 GB DDR 533 PC 4200 RAM. Running in Dual Channel config.
GeForce 7600GT running at stock speeds.
Onboard Audio (6 speaker setup)
160 GB 7200 RPM hard drive.
Unknown speed DVD Burner. (I've had the thing since 2004.) 48x CD ROM
19" LCD monitor
Windows Vista Home Premium. No more dual booting XP. In fact, I don't even miss XP.

It runs real good. I love the thing. It has a HD screen, nice. I connect to my 360 to put music on it, I bought a TV Tuner for it that HP makes so I could record TV, and my Games. I would sugest this lapbtop to anyone. The only thing I would like to do in the future if I had money I would upgrade the ram, and harddrive, even though it's un needed.
