Gigabyte 965P-DS3 Motherboard
WD SATA 250GB HD
Corsair 2GB of RAM at 800MHz (OC'd to 900MHz)
1.86GHz Core 2 Duo CPU (OC'd to 2.1GHz each) (Cooled with AC7 heatsink)
GeForce 7600 GTS 256MB. easily as good as any one's SLI 8800s or what ever. I get 60 FPS on all high settings at 1280 x 720 - 32 bit, and costed less than $100!
5.1 logitech speakers
CD/DVD Combo drive and DVD Burner with lightscribe.
5 in 1 card reader
5.0 Windows Experience Rating : )

pretty sweet i guess. put together the system for less than $1000 (monitor, card reader, and optical drives bought separate, but still).

Intel Core 2 Quad 2.4GHz
2GB RAM
320GB HDD
Integrated sound (probably rubbish)
256MB GeForce 8300GS (not brilliant, but at least it's DX10)
Windows Vista Home Premium (came with the PC, but runs quite well)
19" widescreen monitor

Only cost me £699 as well! But then Vista did give it a score of 3.4...(on Aero performance of all things - normal gaming graphics got 4.2, and everything else is above 5.5, with CPU getting a nice 5.9).

AMD Athlon 64 4000+ (OCed from 2.4 to 2.5 GHz... whooooooooo)
2 GB A-Data Dual-channel PC3200 RAM (This is why I can't OC more. It's good RAM for the price, but not good for OCing. Oh, and yes, I'm still on DDR.)
ECS KN1 Extreme motherboard
XFX 7900 GS (OCed from 450/600 to 538/732)
Creative Audigy SE
XION 600W power supply (Good for the price)
XClio WTSL Full tower case with 2 x 250mm fans (+ 1 x 120mm I added in the back)
19" Viewsonic standard aspect ratio LCD monitor w/ 8ms response time

It's a decent computer, nothing special. It runs Halo 2 at 1280 x 720 on high with 4x AF/AA at 30-35 FPS average. It runs Halo 1 at 1280 x 1024 with 16x AF and usually doesn't drop below 60 FPS.

Yes, I am a hypocrite, and I'm sorry. I really do mean well, but I'm not running on all cylinders.

Everytime someone buys a copy of Halo 2 Vista, a puppy dies.

Now, in the quantum moment before the closure, when all become one. One moment left. One point of space and time. I know who you are. You are destiny.
