Si-!

When I first beat Legendary I thought the hardest part of the game was trying to get down to the banshee after trying to save Captain Keyes. Its seems like there is an infinite amount of high ranking elites all over the docking bay. What do you think is the hardest part?

Well, there's the first wave of SpecOp elites, then when you jump down, another wave with a few Fuel Rod Grunts and Elites.

T&R, as soon as you enter the ship, Zealot Eltes come pouring out with Jackals and Grunts, with more elites. Oh, the Zealots can one hit you in Legendary. No idea how I got past that.

The whole -blam!- Library.

yeah the T&R. haha good times.

I remember one of the first time I played that on legendary, when I came in the docking bay I seriously played for 2 hours and could not win.
I remember I hid in one of the shafts (hallways whatever) where the enemies come out. I was scared -blam!-less haha, SO many covenant GOD.

Now after so much years I can kill them on my first try :P

Oh and the library is hell on first play trough, now I love it. Shotgun rampage FTW

When I get to the docking bay part I make sure that I pick up and put down the plasma weapons that are in the hallway before you get out into the bay. Then they don't go away and you can use them all up to pick Covenant off from a distance.

I think the hardest part is on Two Betrayals when you have to jump into those reactors (or whatever they are) that blow up and take your shields down. When all the Flood come into the room with Rocket Launchers and stuff. Plus shotgun ammo is so sparse by the time you get towards the end.

there is really only one part that always snags me, and thats the one section in the library when the while your waiting for the door to open and the one behind you closes. the one where the floor come out of the ducts on both sides of the room. i always fall victim to chain grenades there, but that's the only part i may have to try more than twice.

that section after punching keyes out really isn't that bad, there's a trick to it. one you enter the docking bay stick to the right and move forward. as you come to the end of your platform and look over the edge there will be two elites, dispatch them and then jump down, the fall won't kill you. your now on the second level getting shot at by everyone on the ground floor. hug the wall all the way across the 2nd level until you are directly above the banshee. simply walk off the edge and hammer X as your landing on the back of the banshee. boarding the banshee midfall will put you immediately at it's controls, otherwise the fall would kill you. simply fly away.

I always thought the Library was one of the easier ones if you took your time, used the right weapons and played on a bright TV.
The hardest for me was the top of the grav lift on T&R. I would always try to hang onto my sniper rifle because once you get past the top of the lift, everything is so much easier with the sniper rifle and there's plenty of ammo for it.

Geez, where to start... I would probably say the cafeteria on The Maw. On legendary when you kill the elite and three grunts in there FIVE SpecOps elites come into the room. And they are surprisingly accurate with plasma grenades. Clearly they use Aimhacks.

Everything was very easy on legendary.

That means at least five lives a checkpoint, but one part that took me at least fifty tries was the part in Two Betrayals when you get the second index thingy destroyed.

I have a needler and an assault rifle (I don't know how that happened, but it screwed me over.) and one bar of health. IT took me SOO long to do that part...good God.

I really struggled in Two Betrayals. You spawn on top of a cliff and simply have to fly down and travel through a tunnel. There are a whole bunch of banshee's there but you can't dogfight them up high because the top of the cliff is covered in cannon toting/turret firing grunts. Inside the tunnel there are a whole bunch of covenant fighting the flood. I couldn't drop down behind them because there is no cover and I had a banshee coming up from behind. (thats what she said)
I couldn't fly over because of the rocket flood filling the next area. I ended up dropping down in between them and taking out the rockets. After a whole bunch of tries.

Not the hardest part I remember, but the hardest unmentioned part I remember.

Estne volumen in toga an solum tibi libet me videre?

Nothing suits me like a suit.

Nothing is true. Everything is permitted.

Two Betrayels, the giant battle with the wraiths and turrets on one side, the flood on another. And to make things worse, all I had was an out of ammo shotgun and a plasma pistol. and somehow I still did it. It was mostly me running through there shooting elites to make them stop so I could run farther

I do that now, but the first time I played I tried to get to the banshee through all the corridors and endless elites. I thought that was ridiculously hard.

o yea, thankfully i only ever did it twice the full lenght. the first time was hell, the second time not so bad because i specifically made sure i had full sniper rifle for my second shot at it. still tough, but made it a lot easier.

end of keyes, trying to kill ALL spec ops elites on the way to the banshee.

n00b combo + grenades + pistol head shots!

....and a whole lot of deaths from their sick plasma tosses.

and the whole freaking library only because of those damn popping floods setting off grenade chain reactions!

Fear the Wafflepan

The Maw
I always die alot getting the fusion reactor to destablize, but I always die alot more on the part with the warthog because the infection forms explode like mini grenades and some of the flood have rocket launchers!!!!!!!!

For me it was Two Betrayels. There was like every kind of enemy and bad situation you could think of in that level. Wraiths, Banshees, Flood, Covenent, turrets, etc.

The staircase room in the Pillar of Autumn took quite a bit of time.

But the hardest for me was the Belly Of the Beast in T&R. The marines get wasted so fast.

You haven't played Halo 1 lately, have you? You can't board vehicles.
