Is 8 ms response time good enough for Halo 2? Im thinking about getting the Samsung LN-S3251D it has a 4000:1 dynamic color ratio... is that enough as well?

Anyone here play on this TV?

I mainly am getting it for upcoming HD titles but I would like to play H2 till then.
Any help would be appreciated, sorry for all the questions.

i don't know if it will, but 90% of hdtv's have the GH2 lag and maannnn is that annoying.

8ms response time is good, i got a 24ms response time which sucks. im going to get a 32" hdtv with 6.2ms response time for £315 (about $650).

Ive been researching FOREVER

Can any WELL experienced Halo 2 player tell me if there is any millisecond lag with the controls on a 8 ms response hdtv/contrast ratio of about 4000:1?

thank you

i tried out the earlier version it was like the LN-T3232HX or something like that at a friends house.... it played the 360 games great but when it came to halo 2 it was a little choppy...

Not sure if game mode was turned on either...cuz the kid didnt even no that his xbox wasnt turned on HD till i went over there lol so I doubt he knew if the game mode was on.... he said it comes on automatically... which i didnt believe but didnt have time to mess with it.

Any one know if the game mode on on this samsung automatically is on or do you have to go under some sort of picture settings....?
I know thats a noob question but .... if i have to turn it on id like to know how so then i can go back over to his house and try the game mode before I buy a later model for $740...pretty nice price..

Yea thats what I was going to do ... but if someone knew off their head I didnt wanna waste my time calling Samsung and getting transfered a bunch of times just so I could see if the Game Mode is automatic or not.... It probably isnt but I didnt have much time to check.
