Note this tutorial is intended for Windows users.
Okay well we all want to have Halo fonts to use in word and paint don't we? Well with my new tutorial you can! You can have a basic outline of the Halo font or a solid black font best used in word. Now you are probably sceptical so I have just made a quick thing in paint to show you the fonts in action.

Now it isn't perfect and s far I have failed to find the real blue deal but it'll do for most purposes. So now on with the tutorial.
Step 1 - Okay well first and obviously you have to download the fonts.
EDIT: Saint found an updated version of the solid black font. The numbers 2 and 3 have been updated to look like they do in the game logos.
Here is a link Updated Solid Font ;-)Halo Outline
Solid Font
Step 2 - Once you have your uber cool fonts downloaded you'll see they come in a compressed .zip folder. Right click on the folder and then click 'Extract all' to unzip the zip.
Step 3 - Now close any open Windows Applications (you have to do this for some reason).
Step 4 - Now go to your control panel situated under the start menu, click appearance and theme and then look in the top left of your screen for a title which says 'see also' under the title is a link 'fonts' click it.
Step 5 - Now in fonts click the menu bar at the top which says file, then click 'Install new font...'
Step 6 - In the Drives list, click the drive you want. (Just select C: that is your computers hard drive if you're not sure)
Step 7 - In the Folders list, double-click the 'Documents and Settings' folder, select your name, your documents and then the unzipped Halo font folder that contains the font you want to add.
Step 8 - Now click on the font in the 'List of fonts' box which you want to add and click OK. It may say the document is already being used and cannot be replaced. In that case look in the bottom right corner of the small open install fonts window for a box that says 'Copy fonts to Fonts Folder' make sure that isn't ticked.
Step 9 - The font should now install, remember it is where you installed it from not where the other fonts are situated so don't delete the original folder, keep it safe. Anyways now the boring stuff is over open a program such as paint or word and scroll through your fonts and as if by magic there is a Halo font there. Huzzah, now that wasn't so bad ;-)
