Well if you can't hit them and throw grenades at yourself you aren't going to get any kills.

If someone responds to this thread by saying "Learn to BXR and Doubleshot" do not listen to them. They are complete idiots, and their advice will not help you win more Hardcore games. While these glitches are useful, they are only a small part of the game.

Level 1 - 10: You should be able to easily win by just playing by yourself and getting kills.
Level 11 - 15: You will need to concentrate on making sure the objective work gets done.
Level 16 - 22: You should try to communicate with your teammates as much as possible, and work together to win.
Level 23 - 26: Don't go into Matchmaking by yourself. Get a party of at least 3 people you know are decent and will not quit. Communication is key.
Level 27 - 30: Get in a party of 4, concentrate on slaying and running objective as efficiently as possible, and communicate constantly.
Level 31 - 35: Play with 4 people, everyone constantly communicate, fall into team roles as slayers, objective players, and support players. Set up the map and control where the other team spawns, and also time power weapons and power ups.
Level 35 and Up: You will basically need 4 people who have worked out strats and setups, perfect communication, control of spawns, power weapons, and objective items, and high levels of individual skill. You must work as a team, and try to avoid 1-on-1 situations.

As far as general tips for you individual skill level, here are some good ones:
1.) Learn how to react to what your opponent does
2.) Learn how to react to what your teammates do
3.) Learn how to use button glitches at the right times
4.) Warm up before playing
5.) If the other team is talking trash, mute them so you can concentrate better
6.) Learn how to use strafing, Gandhi Hopping, wall glitching, and peek shooting to win 1-on-1 situations.
7.) Throw less grenades and fire more BR shots
8.) Don't complain, don't get angry, and stay focused.

I don't know what level you are now, or how far up you want to go, but this should at least help you some.

alright, if its capture the flag, odd ball, etc, then, everyone move in at one time. if its slayer, in the pregame lobby, once you see the map, have your team agree on where to hide. example: lockout, stay at sniper tower, watch the elbow, center, and down below. beaver creek, stay behind portals with noob combo, or shotty. Remember where plasma pistols, BRs, and rockets spawn. Plasma pistols are great with the BR, and, in a game with no duels, a shotty takes the place of a plasma pistol. *HINTS* Ascension, rockets come back almost as soon as there dropped. ivory tower, sniper spawns even if someone is holding it, in other words, more than 1 sniper on map...

hope this works

WOW. Everyone just stop making stuff up

Getting advice from level 15's in hardcore isn't going to help you much.
Before the rank reset, i've gotten to a 37 in THC. Then I stopped trying because of cheaters.

Now everyone. It is imperative that you read this next line.
BUTTON GLITCHES WILL NOT HELP YOU WIN

Everyones talking like you need this to win. No. You really don't see that many double shots in games.
I don't double shot. Maybe in a random custom game or something, but I rarely double shot. And I don't need to.
It's much more important to learn to 4-5 shot, and how to team shoot.

If you're just looking to "rank up" in team hardcore, then get a team of 4. Is GodofDeathKB said up higher, a team of 4 will destroy 4 randoms any day.

After you get to the 30's, your teamwork becomes crucial. Have a game plan before the game starts. Figure out who's rushing what base, who's doing what.

Analyze what your problems are.
::Are you getting out BRd every time?
::Are you getting spawn killed?
::Are you ending up with the least shots fired?
::Do you win in kills but can't win the objective?

There's way too many possibilities. Furthur discuss your problems, and we will be able to help you better.

Morale of the story. You DON'T need button glitches to win.

if u dont know how to double shot and quad shot yet learn that first. then once u do like that one guy sayed stay with ur teamates and bopth of u shoot at the same guy so he dies faster if u wanna play some thc add me IXiKilltackiXI

Learning how to Dub/Quad shot is a waste....Even with lots of practice you need to be VERY skilled at it to do it under pressure. Anyways, people that i know always do it, and i usally out BR them because they mess up on their dub/quads.

Anyways, you dont need to stick with a teammate, just make sure that you go in with a team of 4 that play with a strategy. If its Slayer, camp a spot and have 1 person at each essential area. Learn teamwork, learn how to call out places (Ex - BR3, blue tower, snipe on lockout).

Just work as a team, thats why pros are so hiugh in Hardcore, because of teamwork.

(>-^.^)> ( # )

Just stick with your Teammates and you'll do good. learning to button glitch won't help you that much, so don't listen to them.
