its like a large force of win going through fusion, thus creating a chain reaction of a huge asplosion of win destroying any fail within its awesomeness.

I blame stosh.

I get the same thing when I try sending an email too. I also get that error when I try to send an email to bnetbugs@microsoft.com. I wonder whats going on. They are both valid emails aren't they?

We must carefully analyse the situation.
What do these two problems have in common?
Both e-mails are on Microsoft.com
Therefore, the problem lies with Microsoft, not Bungie.
Therefore, I blame stosh.

h2cheats is not generally monitored since the most recent Halo 2 autoupdate, as pretty much everything with regards to cheaters is done through an automated system. Both modders and standbyers are automatically banned, and the system also deals with people who try and force host. Map and game bug exploiters (BXR, out of map stuff, etc.) continue to be dealt with using the Xbox Live feedback system.

Bnetbugs, however, was busted earlier today due to a Microsoft mail server issue. It has been repaired and it appears to be receiving mail again.

There is a reason I am user ID 1 and my account creation date is before this site came online.

Thank you for clearing that up.

The way I see it is that the more cheating XBL accounts that we get rid of now the less there will be in Halo 3. Yes it may be a different game but those who cheat at Halo 2 will probably try and do the same with Halo 3. I refuse to just let those who cheat go unpunished. Its not fair to the rest of us that play the game the way we should to have to put up with those who cheat, and ruin the game for us.

No, we used to read them all the time. But the last autoupdate made it unnecessary... every report of banning/standbying was already caught by the automated system with more information than the manual report. Everything else was just spam.

I reckon you should have the system allow all cheaters to stay unbanned from now on... Until the release of Halo 3. Then ban them from Halo 2 and 3 on release day.

That'll teach them.

And I assume any account banned from Halo 2 MM is automatically banned from Halo 3 MM as well? It would make a lot of sense, so please tell me that's how it goes...

Aren't we saying the same thing? Bungie doesn't read h2cheat emails anymore, which is why it was down and no one knew it.
