After being a HUGE Halo 2 fan over the past 3 years, I have came to a great conclusion. But leave said conclusion for after my explination. I have seen lots and lots of MLG pros play games with others, and have seen some things. Here they are.

1. The top 4-5 teams in MLG have very unique strats to bring to the floor against their competition.
2. Most only the top teams have their own unique strat.
3. Competition is so strong, these strats never really seem to make themselvs known other than what you see in the tournaments.

Now granted I am making a lot of assumptions here but this is, imo, a good and bad thing. Good because it keeps the competition fierce, but bad becuase after these top teams make their way up and stay there, there will be no more extra ordinary strats. Differents strats yes, but nothing to up the steaks.

Conclusion: Lets spice things up!

Understanding that there are a lot of people dissagreeing with me, I pose this to all xbox live gamers. Show everyone everything you know! Practice these things with them! Then come up with something so unique, it will blow the minds off of some of the people you play in matchmaking! I wanna see it, I wanna go into a game and see a different strat every time. We have a big enough community to do it, too. -Blam- it, lets make it even better, make new gametypes and games to be played with friends on customs! I wanna see a good portion of this go into play becuase this way, it won't be the same thing every time you log onto XBL. It will be (inv from friend) "Hey, we just made a sick new gametype! Come check it out!" or (inv again) "Hola, team, come learn our new stradigy we just came up with, help us tweak it!" If you wanna add me and help me with this tiny movement, add APB WhiteTiger!

Happy gaming to all and keep up the good work bungie, we all love you!

I didn't read your deal but I loved it when they had like 5 different unranked playlists so you could end up playing some of the classic customs. They took a lot of the fun out though just to build a greater desire for Halo 3. I don't know why they see H2 as competition though.

Agreed to alot of what you are saying for sure. I see what you mean too, about getting rid of some of the playlists, however i believe that the customization betweet h2 and h3 are very different. I believe that its sad to see only competitive people and trash talkers (mostly the second) in this game, it should be a lot funner than some people are making it. I hope to change that a small portion tho =P

I would like to see zombie as a playtype. When you are killed by a zombie, you go green automatically like auto team balance. Once Green, you cannot go back to being red.

I would like to see a cat and mouse gametype with more warthogs than default spawn. In Halo 1 for the pc, you could put up to 8 hogs into the game. With this gametype, you need as many hogs as possible or else it's three or four people in a hog and when they get splattered by the cat because of a dumb driver, it really kills the game.

P.S. if you don't know what Cat and Mouse is, here's the explanation.
Map- Coagulation
2-cats (blue)
Everyone else-mouse (red)

The mice can't:
kill the cats
cannot go into the base, rocks, cave or cliffs.
Jump onto the wraith tanks.

The cat's must:
Wait untill 5 mins to boost
Wait untill 1 min to shoot
Shoot anyone in base, rocks, cave, cliffs anytime they are there

6-7 min game
one life
Plasma pistol no weapons or nades on map
regular shields
No banshee
Vehicles are hogs only

The last two mice to die/live are the next cats
If a cat is on the opposite side of the map, they can hitch a ride in a hog to get their tank.

Halo 3 has an official "zombie" gametype that they call "flood infection" or something like that

I've never actually played cat and mouse, ill have to put that into my game inventory.

And I have a new gametype for everyone too. I saw a vid on youtube and its actually quite fun/scary
Its called spaceballs

No shields
Starting weap: Brute Shot
No nades or other weaps
put this game on headlong and have everyone stand in the middle of the broken bridge (you'll see a gap) and face the farris wheel. Look straight up into the air and shoot all 12 grenades out, start running to the farris wheel, try to make it there ;) its fun and fast!

I would prefer if there was finally an end to those dorks who play zombies and cat and mouse.
