Vista is so overrated, and such a pain to use. Any of you guys seen the new iLife features, or Leopard? Absolutely incredible. And Numbers? I have to say, Excel's actually beat. I've always been a Microsoft fanboy, then I got a Mac about 2 years ago. Never going back.

And Vista is so overrated. It's completely exploitable, and slow as crap. And it just borrowed most of Tiger's strong points. Gadgets? Anyway, that's not the argument. I love the iMacs, don't try to argue that it's old hardware.

And EA is moving to Mac, so the gamers can't complain for much longer either. Okay, the hardware might be a touch on the low end, but it's not made for gaming. The OSX software is unbeatable.

The thing I like about Apple is their customer support

After having occasional problems with iTunes and my iPod (ok it's not like every day problems, just maybe once a month or something), I call up Apple, or even e-mail them

Their response is immediate, and the help the offer allowed me to solve the problem, quick, efficient, and simple

Microsoft doesn't help that much, and the foreign outsourcing makes it difficult, can't understand a damn word they say

Care to explain? I have an iMac, and love it.

This is a PC gaming forum. Willing to bet 9/10 people here hate macs without ever using one. Asking why is pointless: Hate is by its very nature unexplainable.
My Mac is my pc. Your computer is your pc. His iMac is his pc. PC MEANS PERSONAL COMPUTER. It does not mean a windows computer. If you hate Macs you are a real fan of Halo; Halo came out for Mac before Xbox, Halo was really made for Macs, until Bungie let Microsoft buy them out.

My windows computer can barley run Halo, my Mac runs Halo almost as good as the XBox. I got 0 viruses ever on my Mac. I never got spyware, hacked, ect on my Mac. Windows computers can easily get virues and spyware by downloading stuff, even visiting a sight. If you think windows is so better than Mac, then explain why it's so easy to get viruses and spyware: Unsecure.

The iMac certainly looks more tidy than a normal PC, but then you don't buy a PC purely on looks.

I use iMacs a lot at college and to be honest, I hate it. The mouse is stupid, it's unbelieveably slow when it wants to be and it's completely useless for anything other than media work. I will give the programs on the machine some credit though, they're good.

Also, sure it can run Wndows based programs such as Microsoft Word but can it run them well? Hell no.

It's like a 50cc sports bike...all show and no go.

Well, luckily, Apple removed the requirement to have any of the Microsoft Office suite. Pages, Keynote, and Numbers all work efficiently with their Office counterparts, and work way better than Microsoft could have ever hoped to accomplish.

If you want to see the capabilities of a mac and what they are good for, just go watch any Pixar movie. They have a lot of scenes in Cars just for showing off. Those aren't iMac's though.

LOL!! What does Pixar have to do with Macs??
And please, Windows didn't copy off Mac OsX, they BOTH copied off SGI's UNIX user interface. Even the old Indys which are a decade old, have full vector desktop icons, font scaling...
Macs were great until Win 95 came out, right now, there's nothing a Mac can do better than a Windows machine can do.
Don't believe me? Listen to my wise friend

Pixar has everything to do with Macs. First of all, Steve Jobs started Apple, then left Apple to start Pixar, selling it to Disney, then coming back to Apple. All Pixar editing is done on Macs. Learn something before you ignorantly post.
