Alright, since today, everytime i play on lockout I get this weird glare on the screen in the background which makes it hard to see. I looked closer at the glare and it appears to look like part of the Lockout map! Is something wrong with my disc? My 360? Please help!

Yea this happened to me once...its just a glitch...try cleaning your disk...or simply shutting off your xbox then turning it back on again

Its pretty much an outline of a part of the map....its kind of hazy ^^

that happens to me a lot in campaign mode, especially playing coop. its some left behind textures from a previous background you were staring at. it can get REALLY bad. i suspect it has something to do with the fact that halo 2 on the 360 is being played through an xbox emulator, and has more room for those sorts of glitches. i've never gotten it on live. resetting the xbox is the only way to fix it; i've quit to the main menu (halo 2 main menu that is) and restarted the level i was on only to find it still there.

Thats what it is, an emulator problem with the 360. The only way to fix it is to restart your 360. That is also the reason that backwash is no longer in matchmaking, the 360 had problems with the map especially when someone grabbed the active camo. There is nothing wrong with your game or your xbox.

Never eat yellow snow, unless of course, you spilled your Mt. Dew!

I have had the seawall from Zanzibar as kind of a background while playing on Warlock before. I think it does have to do with the emulator and some sort of glitch. I think usually it takes the map you just played on prior and leaves an imprint that you notice on the next game.

Well thats the problem right there. the 360s main glitch is that whenever it plays an original xbox game for too long, the game goes through a type of "lag" in where it can't write over the visual data quick enough therefore "burning" the image onto your screen. Thankfully this is only temporary and will go away after you restart. Also the Elite 360 has less of a chance of having a burned image. I compared my cousins xbox 360 to my elite and he receives a burned image almost 3 times as often as I do. I could be a coincidence but I don't think so. Some solutions are to play a dark map so you don't see the burned image in the background, restart the 360 (a pain if you are right in the middle of getting a 10 kill run), or spring for an elite. Personally I think the best solution is to get used to it. I haven't found a solution on any of the forums and i don't think there is going to be one anytime soon. You can still kill anyone so the way I see it is to find some way to get over it. In online play going grenade happy is a great way to overcome the burned image.

I used to get the same problem, dunno what happened, but it didn't do it after like, 2 weeks. Haven't played since the update due to moving house, but have been playing alot of GH II, maybe it's a cache problem? Try throwing in 3 or 4 games one after the other, if you have that many, and hopefully dude, it sorts it out for you. Good Luck
