I would be interested in a custom map based on a "projects" structure, as in "the projects". Low income housing developments, multi-floored apartment complexes with balcony patios overlooking a commons area / courtyard. If you've seen the movie "New Jack City" or live in New York City or Chicago you know what I'm referring to. Reason being is I want more of an Urban CQB feel to it. Why should the Rainbow 6 players have all the fun?

It would be great if it was a large map, with large roofs, big wide open courtyard with trees but the interior spaces were crammed with small apartments, tight switch-back stairwells and a smattering of open lobbies.

I have no idea (yet) how to create custom maps (just now getting Halo CE for my very recently installed HaloPC) but wold be willing to draw something up for someone who is just sloppy drunk with experience at it.

You would have better possibilitys if you make it for halo2, better possibilitys for Human structures and theres more movable human objects in halo2 as well, like couchs, light fixtures, crates, and other things.

agreed, Halo 2 is a better for starting custom map makers.

I eventually plan on getting H2-V for my PC but I was wanting to check out the PC Halo versions to see if there was a diference. I am impressed. While my graphics card is working prety hard so far the game runs smooth while I am alone in a custom game just checking out the maps. I'm going to try and do the campaign missions to see what happens when the information starts stacking up.

However, I was suitably impressed with the variety of maps and the layouts available so H2-V looks like a good investment

Of course, it will have to wait. My "scrounged cash" has been blown pre-ordering H3 so I'll have to wait a bit before grabbing up H2-V.
