It's your NAT settings. I've realized this. There are two settings.STRICT&MODERATEmost 360's are set to STRICT and I don't know how to change it! GRRR!!!
actualy i get moderate and open
does anyone know how to change it from strict????

These are suggested steps that may get your NAT fixed and able to connect to your friends. Follow the directions:1) Write down your ip that your Xbox 360 is reporting (in network area)2) Go to your PC and connect to your router via it's address eg. 192.168.0.1 (keep in mind everyone’s is different so check your router manual if you don’t know what it is.3) Go the DMZ (de-militarized zone) section in you router settings.4) Set the IP which your 360 is using to be outside the dmz.5) Go back to 360 and reboot it, also reboot wireless gaming modem unless you have a cable hooked up to your 360 direct from router.6) Do a "connect to xbox live" test and make sure the NAT test reports as "open" after the test is complete. If it still reports as moderate then you have not set the router /IP correctly in the dmz.7) Everything should work now. This may help you. If it doesn't, contact Xbox Live Support, 1-800-4MY-XBOX. They'll help and fix your problem better than here.Posted by: XenoMidg3tdoes anyone know how to change it from strict????Posted by: XenoMidg3tdoes anyone know why i can't join my friends party???we can only join each other through another person we cannot join in on each other directly.so if anyone could help me or that has an answer i would be appreciate your help
