Ok i have an xbox 360 and when i am in the dashboard it connects and in all my other games but for halo 2 it doesnt. So when i go into halo 2, i try to sign in under my gammertag but it will not sign in and it says Start troubleshooter or cancel. So if you can help me please.

Good, friendly, violent fun.

Do you mean - you don't have the option to sign in, or it tries and fails? Do you use a router? is Upnp enabled on it? Firewall?
Try testing your xbl connection through dashboard > network settings - NAT should be open, or moderate at very least. Occasionally i get xbox live failed message for no apparent reason, then half an hour later it works.

Let me know the answers to above questions and i'll try to help you out mate.

It is not the firewall because it connects in dashboard.

That's a bit odd, i was expecting you to say xbl had failed.
So, NAT is open, you can play your other games online but not halo2?

How long have you had xbl for?

I'm a bit stumped. I can see you on xboxlive.com, but can't see any games played, which makes me think it is disconnecting you at some point after dashboard, whatever game you are playing.
I'm just leaving work now but will be online within 2 hours, i've sent you a FR through xboxlive.com so i'll try and message you later when i've had a chance to trawl through some networking sites.

Bummer for you though dude, my 360 would have taken a third story dive by now if i were in your position!

In that case it is definitely connecting to live during startup............
Leaving work right this second, i'll be back on soon mate, i might be able to think better when my 360 and laptop are both infront of me.
