Hey Everyone.

I've been reading a bunch of complaints about Halo 2 for the past 30 minutes and I'm not sure if I should really buy it.

Here's how I see it.
1) Halo 2 was a lot of fun on the xbox, I loved the campaign mode for the first 2 months, and then got xbox live, played for two years, and I'd still play today.
I loved the game play, what just turned me off was the fact that I had to pay for live, I just don't have the time to play anymore, so I'm not going to pay 7 dollars for about 10 hours of game play...

2) I am now bored with the halo 2 campaign, and I'm sure the halo 2 multi-player for computer will be even better, but then again... why pay for 10 hours of game play...

3) What is probably going to help me buy it is the map editor (I heard this somewhere, don't know if it's true, but making our own maps gives us access to more fun and diversity.)

4) What I don't get, is making a 3 year old game on a computer. IT'S BEEN THREE FREAKING YEARS!!! Not only that, they make us buy windows vista... As far as I can see, there is no justification for this other than making money... I just bought vista ultimate 64 bit, which made me think about halo 2, but why do they still care about money THIS MUCH.

Here are the fees:
Vista (minimum $185)
The game ($50)
Windows Live Fees (I don't know how much)

So, does anyone have the necessary arguments to make me buy the game?

Slaying noobs since 2007.

We can't decide for you. You have to decide. But, if you want advice, I might be able to help you out. If you have it for the xbox, then don't buy it, unless: You want to get it for achievements.; You want to have it for better graphics (you must have a decent rig to achieve this).; You want it because you have become bored with other games, and are buying it just for a rainy day.; You want to experience Halo 2 with a KB/M setup.; Or, you want it because it has a friendlier (but smaller) online community.
