I don't know if I'm the only one, and my friends say I'm stupid, but I believe that Halo, and Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card, are really similiar. The story is similiar to the setting, the technology is the same. There is even an AI female hologram that acts like the AI program Jane in the Ender series. Plus, the SPARTAN II project sounds alot like what they did with the kids in Ender's Game. If anyone believes me about this please respond to this. It has been bothering me since I read the book and played the game.

Yeah man i made a thread about this awhile back but got no responses, If you ahve read the later novels, (speaker for the dead, Xenocide, and Children of the mind) then there is an AI(Jane) that goes around with ender that very much reminded me of cortana(altough they are in actuality, quite different) but still, she talks to him all the time. Also in the later books there is always the starways congress coming after the planet, reminded me of the covenant after earth. just a few observations.

Yes I have read Speaker for the Dead, Xenocide, and I begane to read Children of the Mind, and while reading it, I hade seen similarities to the game and book, and just kinda wondered if it were based or something like that. Just a thought...

I Love Ender's Game with a passion. I found it amusing that the marines in Halo 2 called the drones "buggers." But yes, The two do share similar themes.. especially when The Spartans are training in FoR.. reminded me of Ender's training... without the.. anti-gravitness. hehe.

ender wasnt 6, he was 11. but still it sounded alot alike when i finished the book. the general halo universe (the physical stories of the games and the books) is alot like enders game, but the spartan training was much more strenuous. you never know, they both could have the same conclusions. or not( considering the latest "ark" threads).

i Think the flood are like buggers and the covenants are nothing like the buggers and theres no littel kid playing a computer game killig real aliens and leading a huge campaign against the covenants . so i think its nothing like Ender's game
