"Cotton thwaps him with the Gravity Hammer, Frankie flies through the air, blood splattering from his corpse, his head snapping back on the ceiling, leaving a bloody imprint on a light fixture and then his body skitters into a gravity lift and is boosted up into the Yellow room."

i am very happy you're finally putting this into the final game!

we got to see glimpses of it back in 2000 when halo was still 3rd person!
and again for halo 2!

and the flame grenade is going to be a very strategical weapon..

thanks lukems for a great update!

The Mjolnir armor is supposed to be impervious to heat and cold. According to everything written about the armor, no air, no heat, no cold, not even water can get into his suit. It's impervious to the outside elements.

A flamethrower wouldn't do jack -blam!- to MC, and neither would a damn incendiary grenade.

You could've done much better Bungie, none of this -blam!- is new to me. Rainbow Six Vegas has incendiary grenades, and Halo PC had a flamethrower.

I'm hoping the flamethrower is campaign only.

Bravo Bungie, once again you succeed in spending a great deal of time and effort on something that will never be appreciated.

Is the firebomb a Brute or Human weapon?

Brute.

ftfa:
It doesn’t burn under water—unless it’s already on something and burning. A thermite grenade will burn under water and that crap has been around forever. Hey, is it just me or does Brute tech seem to be all over the map? Either there’s no info sharing on Brutonia or something bad happened.

True, I forgot. Did anyone notice that in the incindiary grenades information posted that it can only be thrown around 10 meters? Interesting.

It says that the average soldier can only throw it about 10 meters. The Master Chief will probably be able to throw it much further.

I will silently laugh as I kill n00bs who think grabbing the flamethrower will make them great; looks like the flamethrower is a support weapon based on how MC is holding it and b/c of its size

This is great news! Finally, after all the long years of waiting, the Flamethrower had finally come to the Xbox console.

I'm really excited to use the Incendiary grenade as well.

Thanks Bungie! You rock!

Somebody at Bungie is pretty much failure at the metric system. 8 feet isn't 3.4 meters, either. A rough estimate is about 2.5, but an application that I used showed that it's precisely 2.4384 meters.

Never eat yellow snow, unless of course, you spilled your Mt. Dew!

Burn! Baby, Burn! Nothing better than a flamebroiled Grunt for a tasty snack. If you can eat an entire Grilled Brute in one 24 hour sitting is the whole meal free? Hellz Yeah!

Will the flame thrower take you into the 3rd person view?
