Forum Ninja posted this reply to a earlier thread about cheating. My question is why are the mods locking & deleting threads from gamers who have had their gaming experience ruined by cheaters? Gamers think there is less cheating now in Halo2 MM.....WRONG! Bungie finally figured out how to stop router bridging but SO MANY gamers had/have the programs necessary to exploit numerous cheats on their puters that it still exists but just in a much more sneaky way. I have been cheated almost as much as before the update. Only difference now is that instead of being put in red bar 20-25 secs into the game, they put you in red bar at critical points in the game to assure their win. At least before you could quit immediatly and move on to a new game, now you battle it out fair & square to be red barred at bomb plants, flag captures, end of game in slayer, etc.

Why are the threads being locked & deleted. These cheating events really happened. It is a part of the Halo2 MM games whether you are the one doing it or on the receiving end of it. This is a forum to discuss both good and bad issues...or at least I thought it was.

Welcome to Bungie. You have no rights. Play nice.™

Its just a weird rule, you can't really discuss specific situations. Ask them, not us.

They always give a one sided or generic answer...or just lock it, delete it and say no posts on cheating. Cheating is a reality in MM. Not Bungies fault people do it, but either they or Microsoft could stiffen the penalties for doing it if they chose to. I'm just hoping Halo3 will not become a cheaters haven!
