Subject: when the time comes...which will you choose?

If it was me I would take the shotgun and drop the BR. I wouldn't need it. The shotty is good for close range, and the sniper for medium and long range on lockout anyways. If it was a different board with more open spaces I would probably keep the BR and sniper.

The shotgun sucks a bit, especially under higher latency, so most likely I'll leave it.

I'd pick up the shotgun, and waste all the ammo in it except leave 1 bullet, then I'd leave it where I found it.

I will start firing as fast as possible with the sniper if I know mychances of keeping it are really low, but why bother emptying the shotgun? It has never really controlled a map. It's more of a supporting weapon.

On a related note: I've always wondered if anyone bothers picking up the sword on Relic. I will pick it up if I have an SMG to trade out for it, but I don't recall really using it.

It really really depends. On map, gametype, and how the team is doing. If we have good position on the map, I will go for the sniper and BR, and tell someone to come get shotty so we can set up shop on Sniper Tower (Lockout as example) and pwn some faces. If we have bad position on the map and need to charge sniper tower or BR3, I will go shotty/BR.

In most situations, it would probably be advisable to use BR/shotty on Lockout. However, I really really like the sniper rifle, lol, and I'm a pretty decent shot with it, so I tend to leave the shotty behind for a teammate and start sniping. It's a good combo to have, really, because if you hit someone with the snipe and it's not a headshot, just pull out the BR and go for the killing shot with it. Saves ammo on the sniper!

If im host, ill switch for shottty since bxrs arent too accurate sometimes.

If i dont have host (99%) i would keep the BR so i could BXR better than trying to use a shotty.

Why get rid of the most versatile weapon in the game? And who doesn't love to no-scope people?

Moo

I drop the BR for the shotty. I like the mix of close and long range weapons. I'd rather have the BR over the snipe, but I'd also rather keep the snipe out of the enemys' hands.

Because its always depressing for the person to pick up a new weapon only to find it has 1 shot in it.
