This is probably an age old question that has been asked a thousand times over , so all the "nOOb" and other such related coments are expected... How can I connect my x-box to my computer to make screen captures ? I am working on some artwork and need to make some referance shots. All help will be appreciated. Thank you.

Get a vid card with RCA ins or s-video ins (depending on your preference), then hook your x-box up to that. software that comes with the card will allow you to display the video in a window on your monitor, then just use a screen capture utility to take pictures and you have it. One of those vid cards costs about $50.

Or you can hook up a VCR and then record it. Then use this thing called a dazzle i think, and it plugs into your computer and hooks the VCR up to your computer so you can edit and capture screens on the video.
