I sure hope everyone had a wonderful thanks giving, and in the spirit of things, I say what I am thankful for, and y'all will follow. I trust everyone saw the new RvB PSA, it's great. Turkey? I love the stuff, gotta make sure to cover it in cheesecloth and smear it with awsome butterness, a little paprika for color, and for that rustic taste, some thyme or rosemary. Even better, wrap the whole damn thing in bacon, some applewood smoked medium thickness. So if your turkey was dry and bland, next year you'll do it right.
So without further ado, I give my thanks.
I am thankful, first and foremost, that the good people at Bungie studios, made a game that has captivated me for at least one hour a day, every day, since it came out. Even though it fell short of my expectations, it's hard to live up to any amount of hype.
Secondly, I am thankful that I am an American, and that being American means we can all celebrate together, no matter what our upbringing or ethnicity, we can celebrate our forefathers taking this country, by force, and brutally blazing a path for us, the future, to live, and make money, and screw people over, and drive big cars and drink yellow piss-flavored beer, own a Weber grill, order pizza and call 911 at the same time, and have the pizza come first. We have plenty of friends, but we never see them because we can hang out online, or over the cell phone. We can learn how to shoot a gun, before were allowed to get drunk , and learn about drugs but never be allowed to use them. Half our country is dumb, and the other half is weak.
So we celebrate this day, on behalf of those we slaughtered, to make room for malls and skyscrapers and Hummers and stuff, we thank them for letting us in to their hearts, with our bullets, and next time you stop by a casino, and see the great grandson of one of those noble savages, tip your hat to him.
Hear hear!
In addition to what lysergicide posted, I'm thankful that my family could all be together this year to celebrate Thanksgiving, thankful that my house is still intact, thankful that I'm healthy(as well as my family), and thankful for...stuff.
