For objective-based gametypes, focus on the objective. If you see the enemy's flag and you don't see anyone defending it, run for it, grab it, and try to get as close to your base as possible. I often get stuck with teammates that go for kills in objective games and don't seem to realize what the objective is, it's frustrating.

So for like KOTH tactics you would have 1 guy in the hill(if time always goes up 1 sec.)and the rest kill?

That'd be the best strategy. Here's some tips, they work for me pretty well.

• When in the hill, don't stand still. Always be moving.
• When arming the bomb in assault, crouch, look down, and stand still. This way the bomb is less likely to fly 50ft away from the bomb arming spot if you get killed.
• Try not to have your whole team stand in one territory in territories. I know it sounds pretty obvious, but some people like to run in on the territory while someone was already there.
• When defending the flag, don't let the enemy inch it back to their base. Kill them before they can touch the flag, not after they've already grabbed it.
• Try to play with at least one friend. Not always possible, but if you go in alone, the chance of you getting unskilled players is high.

EDIT: Also, the only suggestion I have for slayer matches is to stay above your enemy.
