I was thinking about that question that someone brought up in Friday's podcast, the website improving along with the game. My belief in wrapping a website with a video game is like wrapping a marshmallow with crispy bacon strip... These ideas are mine but I'm not taking credit for being the first one to think of it but the first person to post about it, I think. The website functionality should improve the game at first and it should be option for gamers to use but it has to be a freaking sweet option. So therefore it would make the regular console gamer to actually turn on their ancient computers*. Before they can power up their old machines they would have to scrap off the dust covering their computer. Then once they log on, it will only blow their minds
with all the options they can use to improve their game skillz. Imagine, your crappy computer becoming a tool improving your Halo 3 SP or MP experience.

Create a forum post option to upload a voice recording to their post
Ideas On The Subject:
§ Making limitations for the voice recording, like time limit
§ You can program it with Flash to make the functionality easier.
Pros:
☺ The overall idea of this can be great and I've never seen it in any kind of forum site.
☺ Using it in a Groups page for those lazy people who hate to read and type.
☺ Commenting the clan's games and talking about improvements to their strategy.
☺ Using it in a Group's News post like a mini podcast.
☺ Sometimes for those people who stay up and are too tired to type and or they have jobs they can just post a voice link.
Cons:
☻ It could be the downfall for the typing because it could make the lazy gamer dependent on the voice recording.
☻ You would have to monitor the voice recordings for vulgar words, raciest comments, or just plain spam.
☻ Who would host it?
☻ What? Now I have to hear screaming prepubescent kids scream in my ear when I'm on my computer, when it happens on XBL already.
☻ Maybe this action cannot be implemented by Bungie, only the company that provides the forums
Improvements to the Game Stats
Now if you forgotten there are some things that already helps us in our game play. One of them being the heatmap and it can be a great tool for learning where your friends or where your enemies are at most of the time of the game but I doubt that we would get the heat map. There are already tools that can help us in winning games.

Other Examples
Stats Reloaded
I was hoping for more stat information. This site helps a lot but I wish this site had it.
Battlefield 2 Modern Combat Intelligence Tool
This is like a tool creating strategies for maps (This isn't supported any more)
Live Eye
Who wouldn't want to know how many hours they spend playing Halo 3?
Another Site to View Stats
For some reason I'm drawn to the GUI (Graphic User Interface) but some how it doesn't seem like Bungie's style.
Other Ideas
♥ Upload screens you took in a Save Film to Bungie.net to share. Imagine your group page having a gallery of your members playing Halo 3.
♥ Live chatting in your groups home page
If anyone has any other suggestions on improving Bungie.net in any way just reply.
