There is alot of new stuff if you read between the lines. First the pistol now has 12 rounds instead of the 8 that it had in the Beta. Second there seems to be diff types of ammo that you can get for the shotgun. Notice that when it says max range there are 2 distances depending on what the ammo is. (Altho it is prob Brute and Human. Hope not.) Second there are several times when "they" say "ehs" in a way that make no sense. Especially when he says “The kick is milder with the ehs—not that it was that bad to begin with—sometimes progress just seems like change, if you catch my meaning.” Could this mean that there is even moer stuff that we haven't even thought of yet? Like aim assistance. NOT AUTO-AIM mind you but something that lowers recoil and makes your reticle more steady? Stretching I know but what else do we have to do?
And what can this mean? 1] M225 SAPHE ammunition is standard issue for the M6 PDWS, but there are more “exotic” ammunition types available only by Mission Conditional Requisition (MCR). Are they talking about the pistol in Halo 1 and 2 or something else?
That's what jumped out at me the most so far.
[EDIT] The shotgun only has 10 meters less effective range then the Pistol and SMG. Hopefully this means that the shotgun will be more effective at mid range combat like it was in Halo 1. It also seems like there might also be different kinds of Shotgun considering that they have different gauge specs at the bottom.
