Your best bet is probably going to be to call xbox support at 1-800-4MY-XBOX. They should be able to walk you through setting it all back up.

A router is something you dont have. You have a modem.

A modem allows only one device at a time to connect to the internet. A router will share out your internet connection to several/many devices.

As the guy above said, take the ethernet cable out of the PC and put it in your xbox. Then turn the modem off for ten seconds and turn it back on again. Wait until the modem is fully powered up again and you should then be able to get on live.

EDIT- Sorry,it wont work. You have a USB modem. (the cable that goes to the PC) It wont work in your xbox. I suggest ditching your modem and buying a proper modem-router instead.

Trailer Park Boys ~ One of the best Canadian made comedies ever.

You can easily obtain all the support you need from reading the Xbox Support Setup on Xbox.com or give your ISP a call.
