I don't know what the deal is, but I can play the exact same way I always play and the other team just won't die. I know about normal lag, and that host has an edge, but isn't there anything else that can be done to regulate timing? I've tried logging out of xbox live and back in to see if I can get a better server, and it seems to help sometimes, but it could be coincidence. Also within the same game, my frag timing will vary radically. I guess that's what "gameplay experience may change during online play" means. But if this is happening to everyone, how are people working around it?

You either have a bad connection or you're just not that good.

If you are running through a router try unhooking it letting it chill for a few minutes and then reconnecting it. This usually helps if I am getting a bit laggy.

The 360 is emulating the game so it does run a veeeery small amount slower than a regular box. A hdtv can also affect video lag depending on what style tv you have. I have a 62" dlp 1080p samsung which is normally a laggy video game tv due to all the processors. But this is the newer gen version which in video game mode turns off certain processors that are unrequired for gaming and this helps out alot.

A tosser is the same as a wanker. To toss oneself off is to fondle the trouser weasel.

RIP Halo 2.

The 360 emulator isn't as good as an original Xbox. Hit detection is worse and I can swear the BR shoots slightly slower.
